This evening at dinner, a small mouse was making moves on my fat ball feeder in the forsythia. My little family of blue mésanges bravely defended their territory until I came out with my broom to frighten the mouse away. Our meals then resumed in peace.

I find that asics tend to be narrow anyway. The toebox is roomier in men’s and youth sizes.

you would need to contact a pharmacie to see if they can accomodate you, and perhaps make an appointment. Cost is in the 20-30 euro range as far as I can tell, but residents here pay nothing.

I started doing fat balls this past winter and kept on it with the “all season” ones. Mésanges and woodpeckers drop crumbs for the robins and doves. They train the fledglings to go to the feeders. It’s a party in my yard every evening.

I will update when I find out. We have two vaccine campaigns a year. One usually starts by November for everyone and the spring (ends mid June) campaign is the booster for olds and the immune compromised .

I’m asking my pharmacist here in France (when I get a Covid booster on Tuesday)what the protocols are for visitors seeking to purchase vaccines. I want my US family and friends to have the chance to be protected.

I still have supplies that I purchased at a widowers garage sale 30 years ago. He was selling off his deceased wife’s stash for 50 cents for a grocery bag full. Buttons, zippers, trim, lace, rick rack, thread, sequins etc. I bought it all.

Laszlo Tabori was my first coach. With a notebook, pen and stopwatch, he ran interval workouts for a large group of mixed ages and abilities and kept track of everyone’s physical and mental condition in his head. It was wizardry.

This is the type of HS athlete I loved coaching. She gets it. I see many, many more PRs in her future.

After last year, we deserve this. Today the Orge was petite et claire. Not the raging monstre that it was in octobre en Yvelines.

My former employer had 4 ppp loans. 3 for the business locations and 1 for the household staff. After the 8 weeks of paying some of the employees a fraction of their wages, most of those remaining were not given full time hours back.
