Yarvin’s critique of the Trump administration and DOGE is that it’s not being *extreme enough* He wrote this in a 7000 word blog post riddled with genocide imagery www.thenerdreich.com/curtis-yarvi...

Jason! I thought you'd appreciate this. New book on Sid and Nancy is coming out w/ previously withheld police reports. Author unlocked the files via FOIA! (bf was with Sid when he died, she agreed to complete interview because Jesse Pollack was scrupulous) rowman.com/ISBN/9781493...

Yes! She traps average of 5 cats a week. She keeps them safe until she releases them back where she found them. (though I joke the local coyotes call her place the all you can eat buffet they can't get in to)

Have fun! Fabulous weather this week. Hope there is an exhibit for Fix Nation - one thing LA does right. Reduces feral pop and protects birds. (next door neighbor, concert pianist, is out now, trapping feral cats to get neutered. she brings them back to their spot, once healed)

They kill quietly and efficiently. The howling is more like a ping party, checking in. Not food related. (I live in the hills of LA among the coyotes, know them well.)

Where would we Angelenos be without the Dawsons? I did not appreciate them enough.

Born and raised in Pasadena (where hubby works, we lived and we ran our letterpress business for 20 years). Her archives are at the Huntington :) pasadenanow.com/main/octavia...

12 years low carb and I'd have to avert my eyes from your sour dough! Your breakfast looks fab! Have a guac recipe from a friend - smashed avocado, lemon, garlic powder, cumin. Really good! (you can put avocado in the lowest bin of your fridge to slow down ripening. LA is land of the Avo)

An interesting time which spurred on so many social changes. (I especially love the fine press movement that came out of that time)

As a designer, I would always ask myself, what is the essence of the thing, the problem I'm solving. A nanny's essence is to nurture and create safe vibes. So, robot nanny does not solve it. It's a human energy field thing.

You're correct - it's an old established neighborhood. Not even knock downs and rebuilds like other parts of San Gabriel Valley. (My old neighborhood) Cobb Estate park area is probably burnt too.

Yeah, I worked in clubs for years during my youth days and those experiences swore me off going anywhere on NYE!

There is such bad fog tonight in Los Angeles that I almost think the city should be shut down. Do not understand why ppl are setting off fireworks - can barely see the streetlamp! Careful driving everyone, assume half the ppl around you are partially in their cups!

Both are fabulous:) Never burned my eyelashes or eyebrows off all those years using the Egg. Which is saying something!

I have a beautiful leg of lamb (deboned, unfortunately) that I'm going to slow grill in our 24 yr old Big Green Egg. Maybe make a fresh mint, cranberry and shallot chutney? Hmmm (It's warm here in Los Angeles, 78 tomorrow)
