Similar experience here, in my case I suffered a dip in my baseline but tried to continue my normal routine, attend appointments and maintain work hours. Very frustrating but there was no one really there to advise rest, and caution that you can't take it for granted that your body will bounce back

Sounds good, I do plan to read this one soon and catch up on the episode, especially since there's an ebook available. It's a bit mad that all the back catalogue hasn't been released digitally, but I suppose it's probably a big black hole of legal stuff

Can see your point but on 1st viewing it got me in the gut and that's what stayed with me afterwards. Aliss was disingenuous and illogical, Shaya sacrificed herself when she wasn't even infected(?), but that chimed with the overall fear & paranoia of the ep.

At times RTD seems to going for the kind of cosmic being of Wild Blue Yonder and other times it's something more character-based and defined, so the result is a bit confusing? I think the fun for me was in the moments and not necessarily the whole...

"The evidence is now so strong that ME/CFS is a serious multisystem neuro-immune disease that it becomes intellectually embarrassing for anyone to continue to consider it to be a psychosomatic disorder." 👍👍👍

That's been my main gripe recently, so many logic gaps in the stories. I guess I almost see a Season 17 Douglas Adams version of this with Romana betrothed to Deep Thought, and that's the take I'd like to see here. Still I'm sure there'll be better eps to come

Enjoyed the first half of this but then felt it over complicated things and should've stuck with Belinda's betrothal to an AI rather than the Alan stuff. More silliness needed! Tho quite amused by the guy whose job it was to hold the ceiling up—I guess its useful if you can't get to the gym.

I can't sit or stand upright for more than a few minutes because the circulation to my head is rubbish. So sitting at a desk induces debilitating neuropathy, confusion and exhaustion.
