He was lucky to get him instead of glass, but the contract he gave Suzuki is aging like fine wine and has already helped set some kind of baseline for future contracts (Caufield, Slaf). Of course guys like Hutson and Demidov will sign for more, but still

Im very curious about what’s going on in crosby’s mind. I understand he’s been pretty adamant he wants to be a penguin until the end. However, he’s also a fierce competitor and I can’t imagine Him buying in a rebuild to end his career in the bottom of the league.

Wasn’t it like the first preseason game and he was suspended until the beginning of the season? Maybe I remember wrong

You’re not even a little bit nervous that Calgary wins the lottery?
comment in response to post
How could I forget him lol yep he’s got real potential too. Contract ends after next season. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens next.
comment in response to post
And if we had not picked Reinbacher, our only RHD prospect with nhl potential would be Mailloux (unless I forgot someone please correct me) and he’s not a two way defender at nhl level imo

Lol what year is it?

If islanders go on the rebuild path? You think we could/should go for Horvat?
comment in response to post
I buried this team at least 5 times this season and every time they got back and proved me wrong until the next burying. Like the undertaker.
comment in response to post
I don’t understand, why not let him go through his last year like Bergevin and see at mid season if you really want him to make the big decisions at trade deadline?
comment in response to post
And except for the fact he fumbled the puck lightly once, he did a very decent job imo.
comment in response to post
Why would you throw that in the universe?
comment in response to post
It was arguably Guhle’s worst game as a hab imo. Not only because of this bad penalty. It may be because he came back from injury not so long ago, but he looked slow and kind of lost out there.

It’s a shame Chychrun is sick though.

Good news is they didn’t use any energy in this one, so they should have it all for tomorrow

Thank you for the link, I’ll definitely tune in after habs game.

Winners can get blinded by their own optimism. He may have thought that they could clinch a playoff spot, go from there and surprise everybody. However, I also think he won’t move from Pittsburgh.
comment in response to post
I mean, the only thing that would make it impossible is if Crosby absolutely wants to end his career in Pittsburgh (which wouldn’t surprise me). We have a lot of draft capital and b-prospects to give away

They got rotengerg on air??? That’s kind of a great pull tbh props to them

I know it doesn’t count on the scoresheet, but his 2nd goal was also clean af, unfortunately called off for offside
comment in response to post
I think it would be better for them to win so he can keep playing KHL hockey instead of moving to MHL playoffs where he doesn’t really have anything to learn anymore.
comment in response to post
I remember being 100% certain he would end up playing 4 years and signing with Boston.
comment in response to post
That’s the ultimate trap. I expect their skaters to be extra motivated tonight. They’ll defend well and we’ll have to be very clever to create offense imo.

On habs subreddit this morning there was a post saying that Demidov had signed a 2 year contract extension with SKA. I got baited for half a second ngl.

Maybe Hugues could be sent down to trois rivière? I don’t know if it’s possible. If it is, the way he played in his last game, I wouldn’t mind getting our futur goalie in as a second to Primeau, maybe get a couple games before regular season ends.

The same world where we see betting company ads on sports helmets. Where sports hosts and experts tell us the odds before the games and live odds throughout. Sports betting is taking over the spirit of sport.
comment in response to post
At least we know he’ll play him in the third if they really needs a goal right? Right?
comment in response to post
Guhle can play on the right, I’d give Savard a couple games off to rest because he looks very tired
comment in response to post
Yep, cbj regulation win, islanders are still 2 points away, but one more game played.
comment in response to post
4 goals on 11 shots. The 12th was the empty netter. Also, 10th and 11th rangers shots were goals.
comment in response to post
It would have looked like you were making fun of their contracts by being sarcastic.
comment in response to post
You know he’s out there practising his take off on face offs. The kid wont ever get caught like that again I just know it.
comment in response to post
Tonight’s game on prime can’t help us whatever happens, but as per usual, please let it end in regulation.

comment in response to post
comment in response to post
comment in response to post

The only thing that makes me slow down on the Fowler hype is when I look at Primeau’s sophomore year numbers. 2.09 gaa, .933 save pct, 4 so, 25 wins. In 36 games though. Fowler has 23 wins and 6 SO in 30 games. That’s huge.
comment in response to post
It doesn’t make sense to even dress him in this case…just let him watch from the rafters so he can actually rest…
comment in response to post
comment in response to post
Ils peuvent ben se faire blanchir.
comment in response to post
I don’t know, but he had reduced ice time the game before, and now he’s dressed only to be benched all game…I mean, at this point it would have been better to let him watch from the rafters. My guess is he refused another contract offer.
comment in response to post
The thing I hate most about this statement is he call him a kid…binnington is 31 years old lol
comment in response to post
lol of course he scored just to make you look wrong.
