Shocking? Yes. Surprising? Maybe not. It’s been clear that there has been a bigger picture to this for some time. October 7 was surely serendipitous in how it helped trigger the events that followed.
And somewhere tucked away in all this, is the cost to human lives and natural world.

Does it stay neutral over the Russia-Ukraine war? Did it stay neutral during WW2? Should any MSM stay neutral in grave humanitarian situations such as when genocide is taking place?

Clearly, like Trump, he didn’t get the memo that Iran was literally in the middle of negotiations - or so it was led to believe.

If deposing murderous psychopaths is the aim, why didn’t they start with Netanyahu and his cabinet?

BBC seems to have difficulty in understanding balance. When there’s fact and (usually extreme) evidence-free opinion, the truth is not some point in the middle.

This should not come into play until every person in the UK who is facing end of life care has access to first class palliative care at home or in a hospice. Then it becomes a free choice.

But they didn’t listen then and they’re not listening still.

Don’t expect BBC to show it.

Are there any left wing members left in the party?

No, not animals, that's unfair. They are humans because this is what we have become - some of us. Those with no moral principles, just hearts filled with evil and hatred and greed. I can't think of any animals that would behave in this way.

Are they even reporting it?

Admirable use of the passive voice there by… oh, it’s the BBC. Gosh.

Patients and families affected by sickle cell disease have been talking about their lived experiences of this for decades. Always the most compelling presentation at any conference. Sadly, so many of their experiences were shaped by prejudice and discrimination.

Starver doesn’t want to rush to any hasty conclusions. It’s not like it’s Russia where decisions and actions can be taken overnight. Give him another 6 months or so.

How else could Netanyahu ensure support from his allies for Greater Israel?

Oh. Assassinated in an illegal war? Good of them to confess up front.

Surely just attempting to collapse a regime, even with a replacement is simply wrong and should be condemned outright? And hasn’t the genocide gone on long enough for the UK government to accept that diplomatic tools do nothing to deter a terrorist nation? Are they weak or complicit? BDS now!

Excellent article. Double standards, hypocrisy and criminalisation of those who speak out against war crimes. Isn’t it about time that such criminalisation was itself made a crime?

Or maybe I should have referred to it as the ‘regime’ calling the shots. Not sure why the Iran government is a regime yet we don’t refer to US and Israel governments as regimes?

The country calling the shots is the only country ever to have used nuclear weapons. Twice. Should we be paying any heed to them? Why should some countries have nuclear weapons and not others? Who’s to say who can be ‘trusted’? If there was any moral leadership, NO countries would have them.

The report highlights what anyone with any critical thinking skills has been identifying from the outset in the BBC’s woeful coverage. Let’s have an independent public inquiry.

You’d think that they would want to use wide-angle lenses to capture all the crowds. Shame.
The BBC doesn’t have any either, for filming anti-genocide protests (sorry, hate marches) or for capturing the huge adoring crowds around Sir Kid Starver.

And to further the ultimate aim of clearing Palestine for the Riveria. Those Airbnb apartments can’t wait for ever!

Nor me. Buth there is no logic to the bully boys with their arsenal getting self-righteous about their insistent exclusive rights to the ultimate in killing power. If Israel, why not Iran too?

One aspect of Bluesky that I don’t like. There’s only one option it seems other than just to post your own emoji. 😢🤬
But at least then you can indicate sadness and anger I suppose.

So why is it ok that Israel has nuclear weapons? And which is the only country in the world ever to have used nuclear weapons, not once but twice? Is it Russia?

It’s been obvious for decades that health and social care should be fully integrated. Along with social housing.

Ah, that term ‘activist’ again. In this context does it mean ‘people with a moral compass who feel compelled to speak out publicly against genocide’?
comment in response to

What, trying to draw the world’s attention to an ongoing genocide? That sort of political attention? I guess the political leaders could actually take meaningful action and then there’d be no need for people to take such brave actions.
