I think I made the same a similar comment when Brentford were promoted, and so pleased I was wrong Seems Brentford copied the Brighton plan, and Brighton copied the Southampton plan, and woops, but 2 out of 3 ain't bad ๐Ÿ˜‰

I think the biggest insult is Vince McMahon. the man who conned people like you I don't denigrate a whole group, I denigrate those who fleece the poorer fools that support them A man died at one of his shows and he said the show must go on, can you defend that? Its all about poor education imv
comment in response to post
Yes, but here in England he's the best known, and my guess he's also the best known in the USA
comment in response to post
Thanks Steward, I'm English and while I'm aware of other companies that put on shows, my guess is that they've copied the McMahon model Am I wrong? I also wonder how many average Americans, if asked who runs American wrestling, could name the heads of the other companies involved?
comment in response to post
Thanks for this Mort, appreciated I'm English so I didn't realise Americans were such snowflakes But to your point, my question was questioning American education & why so many Americans find this entertaining? They know the organisers have already appointed the winner prior to the bout, so..??
comment in response to post
Haha, last resort of the old ad hominem response I guess you'll need to look the meaning up, and when you do, I'll expect more insults, because that it all you have got๐Ÿ‘ So I leave it there, love to the family and goodbye Henry

Pretend fighting being popular,, nah,,, very odd ๐Ÿ˜‰

It was an opinion. US education/indoctrination goes much deeper that this. Tbh I was aware of the likely response from those who watch it as like their guru McMahon being crude & rude is their mantra I'm Mark Twain/Grant Allen who said 'I never let my schooling interfere with my education'๐Ÿ˜œ

Thanks Steward, at least you've put forward an answer I can reflect on, but sadly I've read the other comments & all they do if confirm my original post. Tell me to shut up and all from the land of *cough cough* free speech Most have missed my point but life's too short to explain it in more detail

Not sure of the death you're referring to, Lots of premature deaths in wrestling also which is tragic

I'm amazed that in 2025 this still stimulates such a huge audience But,,, there again, is this a reflection of the USA education system....? Sadly and clearly,,, it is :-(

Use to follow NZ politics but lost track post covid, but imv they hail Mฤori when playing for the All Blacks, but those that dont๐Ÿค” Unlike most democracies at least you can change party every 3 years rather than 4/5 years (save UK Tories who changed shorter than a cut cabbage can survive :-)

& of course if Canada signs contracts with the EU it will be honoured, unlike the contract the candy floss felon to your south signed just a few years ago, which he ripped up Nobody can do business with the USA because the USA can no longer be trusted Most dumb Americans will soon realise this
comment in response to post
Indeed My guess is they would have no idea where they were,, bit like Trump, doubt he knows either... ๐Ÿ˜•

Pal returning to UK from Oz was sat next to an American couple. They got chatting & asked him 'Where are you from?' he said 'Scotland' & they said 'But your English is very good' To suggest that to a Scot is a potential health hazard! They had no idea that Scots speak English Living in a bubble๐Ÿค”
comment in response to post
No need to apologise Michi, I've seen more of the USA than most Americans have and met some wonderful ppl, but jeez, did I meet some thickos as well Talk about living in a bubble, most had little knowledge inside/outside of their own State, let alone the rest of the world Very sad :-(

Found I wasn't welcome at Frisco Airport on my way to Hawaii. Took me almost as long to get through security as it did to fly across the Atlantic! Was due to visit NY in September but since the election that trip has been cancelled. Why go to such a vile hateful country with so many nicer options

The wealthy one-eyed evangelicals and their poorer zombie like followers are more likely to be maga extremists So yes, in general Republican (pretend) Christians are more militant in excusing their cruel crime boss than their democratic counterparts, so it necessary follows that they are worse
