I implore you to look again. The UK is deeply involved with the arming of the genocidal Israeli government. There's ample evidence of them running spy missions for them. Arms sales to Israel are at levels higher than under the Tories.

Respectfully, "our lefties" would also criticise the EU for siding with the US and Israel. And Starmer hasn't dropped any UK bombs (yet), but he has allowed us to run spy-plane reconnaissance in Gaza (illegally, I might add), and has allowed increased arms sales to Israel.
