Nor is the Padres feed. Commercials come in loud and clear, though. #Priorities.

They were in the running, and almost were my choice, but in the end I've decided to go a different direction.

Greatest trade ever, when viewed karmically. If only the Browns could lose the guaranteed money and somehow it didn't go to Watson. May neither never win another game.

I'd bet heavy on them keeping both. If forced to keep one, I'd go the way you don't like.

No summary of Lenny Randle should omit this accomplishment - youtu.be/aKvO2tKQVaw?...

Coach McDonald: Dammit, Geno, you almost threw another red zone interception.
Geno: I'll get it next time, coach.

He is trying to become a father figure to Cadet Bone Spurs.

If it were a fantasy, they would be trying to attain it. I would call it more accurately a blatant lie/scam. The low information voters eat it up every single time.

think it is you who is missing the point. Democrats are losing and are not changing their mode of operation to align with modern politics. I am bailing out of this discussion at this point. We disagree on this, and that is OK. Thank you for keeping it civil and respectful.

Analogize it to whatever distance of a race you wish, but please identify any type of race where maintaining a slower pace than your opponent leads to victory.
Democrats are losing both short-term and long-term. Without a change in behavior, it will only get worse.

It is indeed a marathon. We are behind. If we don't increase our pace and aggressiveness we will stay behind or fall back further.

He did, but how he ran and how he is behaving now are growing farther and farther apart. I'll be surprised if he wins again.

If this job won't determine the outcome of the next elections, then it seems to me to be a perfect place to start implementing changes. It would be a great place for someone like AOC to gain experience useful to the 2026 and 2028 elections. That is how I see it, anyway.

Call it a "purge", call it a "regime change", or call it a "paradigm shift" -- I don't care, but aligning with Liz Cheney and keeping Fettermanchin and his ilk will not end well, in my opinion. Policy changes are overdue, and they start with leadership.

Yes, if by then she's become sucked in to the "keep doing it the same way and expecting different results" wing of the party. I believe the party is doomed without significant change, if there is to even be a party four years from now.

To that, I would ask how the status quo is working out for you? Running Republican Light candidates has failed miserably, and new leadership must be installed to change both the direction and the magnitude of the current Democratic Party's vector.

I could not disagree more. Democrats have to fight to clean their own messes up before they can fight for the people. The gerontocracy must be purged before any progress can be made.

I do not think it's a fraud, but it is outdated. Owners of all team sports have extracted every last penny out of fans, and I do not blame them for trying to recoup some of the cost for games that they can get premium value.

If so, then where does the crazy overtime where "both teams get the ball unless either team scores a touchdown on the first drive in which case they win" fit in? More or less gimmicky?

I don't want an edit function here, at least not after a message has been liked or reposted at all. Too easy to set someone up to like a post, then edit it into something reprehensible. At a minimum, all likes, reposts, quotes, etc. should be nullified upon editing.
