Really like this one, too. My father is long gone, and long ago I had a dream where just him and I were talking- just a few words. But it was so real and vivid. I doubt I'll ever forget it.

I also had them install a bathroom vent fan, shower door and vinyl shower liner years ago- which I had bought ahead of time. The cost in each case was not much more than I would have spent renting the proper tools and saved me lots of stress.

I've used Mr. Handyman (mrhandyman.com) and they appear to also be in Maryland. "No job too small." This is true as I had a basketball pole sunk in concrete next to my drive, and I just wanted it cut off at the base. I described the job and they sent someone who knew what to do.

I fully supported Kamala, donated, etc., but there are plenty of 'well educated' professional people who, even when faced with another *rump administration vs. the woman with experience, intelligence and empathy, found her to be a bridge too far without admitting they are closet racists/misogynists.

Yeah, no-shows are a big problem. You don't know until it happens, then there's typically 3 staff members with a missing hour of income. They can charge the person for the missed slot but some people are likely to just never go back because they didn't really want to go in the first place.
