Heteronormativity robbed many of us of school dances and proms and kisses stolen under the bleachers and introducing our parents to our crushes and notes passed in class — dotted with hearts — and writing out an imaginary married name. I think it’s OK if we get a month. Happy Pride, y’all.

In an update/fundraising email to supporters, Colorado Public Radio CEO Stewart Vanderwilt writes of potential federal cuts to public broadcasting, "This is framed as defunding NPR and PBS, however, the reality is that it will take money from local communities across the country and Colorado."
