An Ent can turn into a tree, and a tree can turn into an Ent. Those who refuse to act can find themselves as part of the scenery, and those whose inner fire burns will always have place in the community.

Alex Graham’s work is that of a dilettante. A painter giving minimum effort in a medium she does not understand nor add to in any significant way. Be grateful Groth+Reynolds popped for the same shit they always do and embrace the obscurity you’ve worked for - why should there be a wider audience?

I’d say Alex Graham’s amateur-hour comics work would be like if Ines Estrada or Gabrielle Bell or Lynda Barry had the Seattle Seahawks Legion of Boom and the Minnesota Vikings Purple People Eaters give ‘em a combined 60 concussions before giving them pen and paper, but that’d still be generous.

Look at this slop. Fantagraphics charges $35 for a hardcover of this to grace your bookshelves. Another goddam’ Simon Hanselmann, Brandon Graham, tired crap that was old before Crumb got to issue three. Fantagraphics! “No, we can’t keep EC Comics work in print, but we got this!”

When Prasad says denying vaccinations for younger and healthier folks will generate "new data," he's saying we're the guinea pigs for a massive, gruesome public health experiment aimed at eventually eliminating vaccination programs for both present diseases (measles) and future ones (Covid-2X).
