I liked Wild World back in the day, but it felt like a downgrade to the Gamecube one. New Leaf was pretty great though.

In the HD Texture mod for the PC port of the original Resident Evil 4, the modder actually went to Spain with the goal of finding the sources for original textures used and taking newer high definition scans of them.

I agree with the art direction of the OG not being respected, but, I disagree with saying that the devs did a rush job for money.
It's a professional project with a budget and deadline. This isn't a fan mod that can be painstakingly made over a decade Corners have to be cut to get it out the door.

The word "work" is doing a lot of heavy lifting, but for the most part I thought he worked fine.

The real question. Is Nines a simp or not?

I kinda hate that one of the start buttons was excised.

I'd actually love an extended art version of the regular art. It's so clean.

I'd love to back for the fan audition, but I really don't want to travel to the US any time soon.

At least Mark Hamill was still alive for that and they didn't just reanimated a corpse.

Fair enough, I'm only vaguely familiar with the American Power Rangers where that was the Green Rangers arc.

Riku is literally the green ranger. Starts out evil, but then heel face turns to be one of the goodest goods.

Hard disagree, even if its not as blatant, lots of game have open worlds to walk around in between story events. Both Niers could be described as games where you go to an objective on a minimap, and they both have excellent stories.

A big difference between low and high elo is how early you want to impact the map. In low elo your teammates are bad, so you want to focus on being as strong as possible for the midgame rather than helping them. It's a bit like securing your own oxygen mask before your child's.

Learn to last hit better. If you can be up significantly on gold, it's basically cheating in low elo. 15 CS is worth about one kill of gold. Just focus on safely last hitting, and you'll be able to murder everyone by the midgame. (Assuming you don't waste that gold on bad items.)

ISD RTR was my first Standard, and IDK if any other I played felt like it topped it.

Well except for the rabbit puzzles, some of those are ARG level.

1950s? He must be joking. Right now AI is the equivalent of the Model T, barely functional, and desperately in need of safety laws. If AI is like a car, then there's no speed limits, no seat belts, no air bags, no crumple zones, no stop signs, no anything.

No, but there's no point to the game. He just walkin around jumpin on shit.

I really felt a weird sense of camaraderie from your video and Derek's. I bought a SNES multitap in Japan, and if managing to play 5 player Bomberman using that thing was even 10% as satisfying as getting 16 player Faceball working, it must have felt incredible.

Saiyan Arc? People come here. Namek arc? We travel around. Androids? Takes place on earth, but believe it or not its a travel around arc.
It's actually literally this comic.

Yeah, the game holds off on Space Jump until you're more or less at the end, and it would be pointless to not just let the player go anywhere they want.

It does feel like so many Metroidvanias have a lot of the exact same power ups. One of my favourite things about Animal Well is how unique so many of its upgrades are. The game manages to more or less avoid nearly all of the common trappings of the genre.

I think it works well if the default difficulty is easier so that the player can learn, and the highest difficulty is the intended one.
