didn't mention the rape though, so the contention is that people won't know about it and therefore the paper is deliberately covering it up. it's a dumb contention. headlines will never contain everything in the story because they are much shorter.

the headline is there to get you to read the story. the a/b test finds the one that makes most people read the story. if more people have read the story, then more people are informed.
