Update: OK, so here I am on the other side, 2000 pages later.
I can confidently say that this is a fantastic group of comics. In case you are wondering, my favorite supporting character from each of these was: Sophie, Laura Dern, Grandma, Chase, Alvin and Almena Burnett. #Eisners #EisnerAwards

Absolutely loving HOWL by @alisakwitney.bsky.social and Mauricet. The art and colors have a gorgeous retro sci-fi feel & the story is fun, weird, sexy and spooky.

One of my favorite 70s stories! The Claremont/Byrne Marvel Team-Up books were fantastic.

Sigh. Awful and cowardly. And unexpected from @amyklobuchar.com

Groo made me laugh maniacally as a kid, and I still love it. Flaming Carrot was OK, but I remember it being more absurd than funny most of the time.
I'm still enjoying new Groo books 30 years later, and haven't read a FC comic in forever. Oh, and don't tell Groo, but Rufferto is still the star!
