Co-organised by the School of History and Philosophy, the Wannsee Conference symposium takes place at the University of Galway tomorrow - exploring representations of this key episode in the history of the Holocaust in museums and media.

Our colleague Sarah-Anne Buckley here at the launch of ‘Old Ireland in Colour’, photography exhibition at Kylemore Abbey. The exhibition will run until late Autumn 2025 in the Victorian Castle. The exhibition is based on the best-selling book series by Sarah-Anne Buckley and John Breslin.

In our final History Seminar for this year Mehmet Polatel, Academy Coordinator at the Hrant Dink Foundation, discussed how violence can lead to further violence or in the case of Armenia and the Ottoman Empire massacres and genocide. Equally a lot can be learnt to ensure this does not happen
