The fact that this one is being done by tweet, whereas the Iraq war was done through the UN makes clear how much even more stupid this is. And Iraq was very stupid, this is just massively more so.

Don't forget how we were going to turn Iraq into a grand democracy from which prosperity and civility would fan out to the rest of the ME and central Asia.

What happened in 2010?

So that's over the 3.5gʻ threshold, what's our next step? Shut down Washington?

This is the obvious choice at this moment in history.

"It is tempting to think the most important ways to improve transport involve new technology: self-driving cars, flying taxis, or even e-scooters. But often, the best investments involve getting the most out of existing technology, through smaller investments that have a strong multiplier effect."

Nothing says patriotism like a big J6 on your hat. How about some analysis on who attends these rallies, Jeff?

This is very likely the situation.

Reminds me of Winston's neighbor in 1984, who winds up with him in the re-education camp and proudly explains that his daughter had turned him in for something he shouldn't have failed to do.

That's nothing new for Mayor's Cup. And from past coaching experience, I can tell you some leagues would happily put older kids in without that proof of age requirement. I get your concern, though.

Wait, so this has nothing to do with immigration? It's really about taking control of places governed by Democrats? I am shocked, shocked I tell you!

That said, I am curious as to what @humantransit.bsky.social might say about fare collection vs efficient boarding, especially in systems where a large share of bus trips also involve a transfer to rapid rail services. A lot of fares might still be collected at the transfer stations.

That sounds ideal, but the problem here is that a local event, with an appropriate local response was escalated to violence by external government agents. For you or Tom to say the protesters are the problem seems a bit dishonest.

Maybe you should consider John Lewis as the model.

Grand Admiral Thrawn, not Tarkin. But the point is spot on. Know your opposition, know them better than they do themselves.

I like you Tom, but I think you haven't been hurt enough by Trump to understand these protests.

Exactly. It's entirely about Musk being a fascist white supremacist. If somebody is cool with helping him to make money, they can stick with twiter, but I'm done with it so long as he's there.

Sounds like you think the Post shouldn't consider anybody who doesn't toe the Muskovite line. Nobody else matters, right?
Now off you go -- write some nonsense about how sad Trump voters have needs that are too often ignored.

Breaking the system is all part of the plan. Destroy the legal structure that manages immigration and then nobody knows any given individual's documentation status.

It's kind of amazing how the algorithm always assumes I'm not looking for one of the 5 Washington streets here in Boston (or dozens in abetting towns), but some place in Chicago or even further.

Me too, although I genuinely prefer to bike or ride transit for most of my transportation needs. It's not just a proof of concept, as those modes are far more relaxing and enjoyable compared to driving.

One thing's for sure -- when they do start to vandalize the Elon-mobiles, there will be no prosecutions.

How does Newsome's idea work? The state plays no roll in collection of federal taxes, so....
That said, I live in the state that contributes the most per capita, and I'm usually okay with that. Just not at the moment.

Tensesee is the correct jurisdiction. The charge, trumped up as it may be, stems from a traffic stop there in 2022. It is unrelated to the ICE kidnapping in Maryland.

Everything's legal in Jersey.
