Hot tip for visitors to Australia. Think of #Vegemite like soy sauce. Both are salty, and products of fermentation. You’d never have it on its own, but used as a condiment with savoury foods, it adds a rich taste. Try it spread thinly under the avocado on an avo toast, as Australians call it.
