You make it sound like it would be okay to attack his restaurant if he were an Israeli or a Netanyahu supporter. It wouldn't be. He's entitled to his opinion, whether you like it or not. I don't attack Trump supporters or Hamas supporters, though I can't stand either group.

I love the "if you're Jewish and voted for Trump" nonsense. If the whole country voted the way Jews did in 2024, President Harris would have a Democratic Senate and House to work with.

What a load of horse shit. The Palestinians have had ample opportunity to make peace, especially in Gaza, but cling to the "River to the Sea" dream of annihilating Israel. If they succeed, I'm sure you'll shed a crocodile tear or two. Israel won't commit national suicide just to please you.

Would you have rather had Israel capitulate to Hamas, and make a deal for the hostages, leaving Hamas in power and emboldened? That would just pave the way for Oct. 7, Version 2. You may not like Israel's choices, but stop being so damned self-righteous, when it's their lives at stake, not yours.

If they get to Gaza, do they intend to visit the Israeli hostages and ask about their wellbeing?

I'm hoping that Pete will be like Cleveland star Jose Remirez. Remirez could have gotten more money elsewhere, but loved his life in Cleveland, and decided that money isn't the only consideration. He is now a beloved Cleveland icon. Pete can be an immortal if he stays in NY, regardless of $$$.

That's what I do when it's on Fox.

It shows that when you go far out to the left, and far out to the right, they meet on the other side. It's hard to tell the difference.

The true test comes with the order to open fire on unarmed protestors. Let's hope it never gets to that. But if it does, that's when we find out if we live in a democracy or dictatorship.

I do the same thing (I'm also in the blackout zone). I try to listen to Howie and Keith when the game is blacked out or covered by Fox or ESPN. LGM.

Okay, I just got new golf clubs - you can have the old ones. God has nothing to do with this - history does. And there is a long, long history associating the Jewish people with Israel. And building a mosque on the ruins of a temple doesn't change that.

No magic at all. Israel declared independence, and then the Arabs launched a total war aimed at annihilation, but lost. Take a lesson from that.

In this age of AI, I really have to question if the picture of the three of them is real. It would be nice.
comment in response to post
Yes, it's a long and difficult history. But if that makes you think Israel should just "move on" from Oct 7 until it's repeated, think again. Israel will not commit national suicide to satisfy its enemies.

Sort of like ignoring Pearl Harbor, and saying the US entered WW2 for no reason. How clever you are. Except then the hostages just magically appeared in Gaza tunnels. Sorry, but that's not how it works.

The national homeland of the Jewish people is Israel. Ain't going anywhere.

No, but they did initiate a total naval blockade of Germany in WW1, causing the starvation deaths of an estimated 3/4 million people. They also firebombed German cities in WW2, causing far more civilian deaths in days than have occurred in Gaza. War isn't very pretty, is it?
comment in response to post
Funny, but I don't recall the Jews initiating the Holocaust by invading Germany, murdering entire families, killing children in front of their parents, and raping and mutilating women. Do you? I didn't think so. Please don't compare the situations. Israel has the right to prevent another Oct. 7.

Had the ship been allowed to land in Gaza, I wonder if Greta would have insisted on being allowed to visit and bring food to the hostages, who have been kept in tunnels for over 600 days. She doesn't mention them very often, does she?

This is Cafe Kasit in Tel Aviv in 1968. Could it be the same place? I couldn't find a record of a place with that name in NY.

Had they filled the streets in October 2023, demanding the release of the hostages, I'd be impressed. This is just a publicity stunt. Your "boat people" will be well-fed and sent home. If only the hostages were treated that way. Fuck Hamas, and you for supporting them.

Thanks for the self-portrait.

You're full of shit. Israel is a leader in research for the disabled, and has excellent services for them. If Hamas wasn't busy trying to destroy Israel, (including murdering a handicapped child on Oct. 7), Gazans could be helped by all the Israeli work in the area. www.nbn.org.il/life-in-isra...

Take Biden on his worst day, and he's still 1000 times better than Trump on his best day. And Trump knows it, and it's killing him.

I like to think of it more as a dunce cap.

Put out shit, you get it thrown back at you. Go join your Hamas friends in the tunnels. You'll like that.

Now you're just peeing out conspiracy nonsense, like 9/11 being an inside job, or FDR knowing about Pearl Harbor. 10/7 was an intel fiasco. But if you think Bibi purposely let it happen, you're either insane or an idiot. You pick it. The fault for the whole disaster lies with Hamas.
comment in response to post
It's true that if Bernie had his way, there would have been a quick ceasefire. But the hostages would likely still be in captivity, Hamas would come back to power, and then start planning their next "mission." You may not like Israeli tactics, but they weren't flooded with good choices after Oct 7.

I wish I could live another fifty years to see the history books recognize Biden as a great president the way they did Truman. And the only way Trump will be at the top of the list is if you hold it upside down.

I think it looks more like Tel Aviv, but I never heard of any of them visiting Israel. Are you sure the picture is real?

And yet, I'll bet she gets reelected.

Except... The Jews didn't invade Germany on a holiday morning, kill entire families, rape and murder women at a music festival, and kidnap hundreds of Germans. And the numbers (2/3 of all European Jews dead vs 2% of Gazans, including fighters), don't quite match up.

If you want to hear the best nominee acceptance speech, filled with plain old common sense, listen to Harry Truman's speech in 1948. www.c-span.org/program/the-...

600 days since Hamas invaded Israel to murder, rape, and kidnap. That's a reflection, too.
