I just want to know how long until the global bond market says enough and starts a bond rout to end all bond routs.

how is he still relevant in US Soccer attm? Eric Wynalda has a podcast/video series over on YT that has just as many hot takes.

sounds like something you used to see at 1235am Friday night on CityTV in Toronto after Kimmel and Ed the Sock.

how are we going to co-host the FIFA 2026 World Cup when Iran's national team is one of the automatic qualifiers for said international tournament? and is the International Olympic Committee reconsidering LA as a host in the summer of 2028?

sidenote to FIFA and the International Olympic Committee. if you pull the co-hosting duties and automatic qualification from the WC next year as well as a LA 2028 Olympics, I understand why.

well, unfortunately, they also gave up 2 second half goals and are now down 3-2 with 5 mins + stoppage left.

I heard a year or two ago that while Edmonton is on the tags in the prairies, there are actual offices in at least Winnipeg (also a Canadian severe storms lab at Univ of MB). and T-bay for the western Great Lakes. but maybe I heard wrong.

I would agree with the majority staying state-side. but they have to be precautionary at least near the border itself until they see how far north the gusts go. not a bad call from whatever office issued it (YWG, YQT, or TO-Downsview, whoever is in charge up there).

side question. any ECCC t-storm watches for say extreme SE MB as well as southern portions of NW Ont (Lk of the Woods to Quetico)?

I would say in the short term I would say probably not, as the warm frontal band from Grand Rapids MN to Ada MN is looking more like a guide path. I would say maybe because Warroad is going to be more on the fringe he won't see the worst of it.

what part of MN?
comment in response to post
also you've got a warm front band blowing up from Grand Rapids MN to Mahnomen. and it looks like that will be the rough path of this derecho as it moves across northern MN overnight, including several Chippewa reservations before impacting the "Grandma's Marathon" near DLH & Two Harbors in the AM

At least Boss Hogg cared about and was loyal to his wife.

and update, apparently the groundhog that lives at the track has been hit by one of the cars. #CanadianGP

And that's all she wrote. Breakaway goal after a turnover in the offensive end. Make it 4-2 SD A difficult end to what was ok after the first half. #minvsd

And after some interesting midfield play again, a good pass and header by SD makes it 3-2 SD. #minvsd

Meanwhile, a pk after a handball for SD ties up the match at 2. The keeper did get his hands on the shot, just didn't close them all the way. #mnufc #minvsd

And a nice pick up of the rebound for Yeboah to make it 2-1 #mnufc. #minvsd
comment in response to post
Meanwhile, it's 1-1 #mnufc after some not-so-great goaltending from both sides. For the Loons, an own goal. For SD, a misplay by our keeper after a 4-iron shot from midfield. #minvsd

Fox 9 sources say the Senator Hoffman and his wife are out of surgery.

I'm not even going to think about that attm. First things first, there were 2 suspects that shot the Sen & the Rep as well as their spouses, one suspect is in custody, the other is on the loose, hence the Shelter in place order around Edinburgh GC in Brooklyn Pk. Get him first, then go from there.

Democratic Farmer Labor party. It's MN's form of the Democratic Party.

Update, the State Senator John Hoffman and State Rep Melissa Hortman, both DFL, were 2 of the victims shot.

The area affected as of a couple of minutes ago is the northwest suburbs of the Twin Cities attm, Champlin and Brooklyn Park.

be careful out there. there's a very nasty thunderstorm ~35mi west of you approaching Waconia that has had a history of gusts of 75+mph moving towards you at ~ 25-30 mph. hopefully it should weaken before it gets there, but still keep an eye to the west and know where shelters are if needed.

DT is about to screw with an organization that is more corrupt than anything he's dealt with before, FIFA, by burning them real badly at the ticket office and their pocketbook. He's going to find out real quick why you don't screw with them, or the IOC on things like this.

we are so cooked in the Gold Cup if that's what we have.

I have a friend from college who lives in LA. and he said today that the stories the orange one and his people are spreading are completely false. that things are actually not that bad at all and the response is way overblown.

how about something like a love triangle involving a young univ researcher, a gov't MIC, & a mid-career private forecaster? all focusing on getting the information about a major weather event delivered correct during Valentine's Day weekend from the same high rise. "The Triple-Centered Blizzard"

I know my laptop also had battery life issues when I upgraded from win10 to win11 2024 update due to co-pilot taking a lot more juice in the background.
