Incredible.

It's about the UK

Epistemic, a new word for me. Epistemic decay perfectly describes what's happening in the USA.

It's about making it a legal requirement for the government to set a target for poverty reduction, not criminalising homelessness.

Why not a standard gov.uk petition?

'Brace!' 'I can't!'

You're having annual shots? In the UK only the elderly and vulnerable get those. Most other people have only had one or two vaccinations back during the pandemic.

Pleasant fresh taste, but quite gassy and causes bloat, with a tendency to cause drowsiness in older people.

Quick money? What? When I pre ordered a car, I was hoping for... a car.

"misleading"? Try WRONG FALSE INCORRECT
comment in response to post
That's not "always", that's relatively recent. I bought my Tesla in 2015 when he was widely regarded as a force for good by everyone, including the left. Mostly the left, even.

That's revisionist nonsense. He's changed a lot. Self-radicalised by feeding off Twitter reactions, descended into moronity.

They doesn't really make any sense. The money is to create the factory. They don't need 200 million to finish the prototype - that's pretty much there.

Yes, Trump tariffs might be the nail in the coffin.

I've been following them closely and was one of the first to preorder. Believe what you want to believe, but I'm out.

He doesn't even realise which side he is.
comment in response to post
It depends on the volume you're trying to achieve - small scale is much cheaper, and that's originally what they were going for, but preorders scaled and so have their ambitions. Would have been better to deliver sooner then grow organically in my view.

Check the picture.

They reckon they need 200 million and have raised 140 million of that.
comment in response to post
Exactly. Wait. What if you could? 🤔
comment in response to post
I'm not taking that bet 😆 I still hold out hope that they get this thing off the ground. But it's not likely. Their activity for a while has been to tour a prototype to raise money. Not good.

Want to bet? 😁

It's been "next year" for years. I had a preorder but got a refund after I got fed up with the lack of transparency and honesty.
comment in response to post
"about to"? Delivery has been "next year" for about 7 years now 😁

And there are other companies that have actually rolled this out now. I think it's arrogance. Around 2016 they ditched MobilEye and tried to develop an in house solution. Result was no self driving at all for new Tesla cars for over a year as it was harder than they thought.

We live in interesting times.

Skips (dumpsters) seem OK also

It's not like you can put your car in your house or back garden.

I don't think he's on welfare from his bio 😆

He was Italian, it took 10 seconds to look it up.

I think the people already living there might take issue with such a "discovery".
comment in response to post
That's a pretty big deal.

Bush is higher than Obama? What is wrong with people?!

Respect to the menu creator for the meticulous labelling of dietary requirements. They even know that Parmesan isn't vegetarian, which is unusual.

You have more patience than me.

If you're going to say something like "only 23% of Americans voted for Trump" it feels kind of significant to say that a further 21% were not able to vote at all. But, hey, "you do you" 😆 (what an awful phrase)
comment in response to post
I think the 23% is artificially low as a big chunk of the rest can't actually vote.
comment in response to post
What about % of people of voting age? Because I think that 23% is of the total population. 21% of the total population are too young to vote.
comment in response to post
I think you missed my joke.

Well they do call it the land of opportunity.

What's happened?

I'm not justifying it to anyone. I'm correcting false assumptions.

Tesla has not received anything from me for a couple of years now. I get it serviced independently.

That's still alarmingly high isn't it? Given it's now well known what an absolute clown he is.
