Now, I picture laughing skeletons and it's gonna make my day.

"I'm pretty happy with Necromancy so far" is a strange sentence to read out of context. I chuckled.

Yeah, I'm a solo dev, but these are my 30+ inspirational groupies.

You've been officially about a couple months ago. Your dad should get new glasses.

This tournament was one of the best in a while. This final is keeping me on the edge.

Galaxy quest? The Cabin in the Wood? Working Girl? Copycat? There are so many.

To be honest, even if I feel the game is uninspired in terms of classes, ancestries, and campaign frames, the framework to work your own content is quite good. And the scenarios (there was another one during the beta phase) are well designed, if very predictable.

It's still a good intro, for sure. I used it many times.

What if you run a game of high fantasy with Dungeons and Dragons, but with another good system... They would never know 😁😁😁

It's a good setting. The mix of Space Opera and Fantasy, like star Wars pushed to 11, is quite well done. But all the factions, all the history, all the planets... Enjoy the trip anyway!

It's one of those games where you need to read almost everything to understand all that it encompasses.

Isle of Terror packs SO MUCH in so little pages. Lost City has a lot of non-combat strange interactions. It's crazy. It was not just murder hobos in a dungeon.

I'm NOT saying it was better before. But in terms of game design, there is a lot that can be learned from history. You know, like in real life. Things repeating themselves again, over, and over.

I read some modules that I got with the red box from ebay: The Lost City and Isle of Terror. And I suddenly realized how much I lost in the foundation of my favorite hobby. I strongly suggest anyone interested in OSR reading these two modules. (And B6, B10-12 too with GAZ1).

In that order? Because once he resigns, he could fuck himself everyday of the week and twice on Sunday.

Ok, I'm just discovering this. Being late to the party when/where will be the game available? I'm a big fan of Cortex (since Sovereign Stone) and I can definitely see the inspiration.

And BEACON does that pertfectly. 100 times better than Fragged Empire. And with the tools in the book, I can totally see it be played as a nice solo game. And when you read it through #litrpg lenses...

And this is an incredibly streamlined, narrative, with crunchy tactical combat game. When the beotians were calling DD4 "an MMORPG", I was trying to tell them it's a J-TRPG. You get parts with role-play and skill challenges that adavnces the plot, and then you get into a tactical fight...

@tabcreations.com will you have second editions of the other games too? Asking for a friend.

Playing AW, sure! Starting your PbtA adventure by one of the worst written of them, oh no! The book uses 400 pages where 100 could be useful. I had to read hacks at the time to get what Baker wanted to say. It may have started something good, but definitely not the best.

Except everybody who wouldn't vote for him was telling them this would happen. We knew it was in the cards. So yes, they voted for that. And they should be reminded every day so that it doesn't happen until a couple generations. Because people don't seem to care about history.
