KSTP counted "a few dozen" protestors in Loring way back during the protests against the Iraq invasion, when the march to the park stretched down Hennepin for blocks and blocks. So sadly, their undercounting is not new.

When we walked up, Chris said, "Aren't you the guys from the hotel?" and my brain froze (he recognized me, squeeee!). My friends who were with me had to do all of the talking. It was over in less than a minute and I will probably never see them in person again. π
