Got the text cleaned up and bit and exported all the different layers. However running into some issue with scaling to browser size in gamemaker. It’s not overly important but wanted to have that option to play on mobile. Maybe a later update.

The theme for the #gamejam #piratejam is “you are the weapon”. What really comes to me when I think of this theme is Karl Poppers theory of tolerance and reversing the emotions behind the theme to a fighting negative with positive. Something that’s relatable today.
