Don’t wrestle with a pig. You both get dirty and the pig likes it. Allez la revolution! Confected outrage will be removed.

Well the CEO of the Royal Mail’s Post Office received a CBE AFTER the SPM scandal. Jail is on the cards for her. I think the system is that for every 4 worthy recipients, we give a gong to a gonk. And a biggy to a crook. #auspol

ICE are terrifying. They are not clearly identifiable. It’s now a situation for flagrant violence by both “officials” and pretenders. #uspol

That was amazing. What a brilliant - and patient - plan.

Then is it a legal detainment? Don’t they have to properly identify themselves? Otherwise it’s kidnap.

The love-fest nature of his subservience is creepy. Who has gooey feelings for fossil fuel?

It’s hard to see an alternative. I can’t imagine the Palestinian allies will just leave Israel alone after this. They are completely surrounded.

Done and done. A very reasonable request from constituents.

It defies common sense and the evolving use of technology. Commercial landlords need to repurpose their offices - their objections being the only real reason for the challenge to WFH.

Why? Because the mining industry bought their soul?

I think Australia may respond after all the babies are dead.

The conflict has gone beyond both-sidesism. It was an utterly disproportionate response from the get-go. Now its blatant genocide and annihilation - there’s just no other way to describe it. Israel will not recover. It is a global pariah. #auspol

It’s idiotic. Many digital sales, especially gaming, gambling and subscription services can be security checked to a military grade level. But sales of tools which could be weapons? Haven’t a clue except total ban. #auspol

And like Newman, they’ll be a one term government. Except there’s no Palazchuk in the wings as potential ALP leader.

Well done. A master stroke in diplomacy. King Charles will help anchor Canada’s identity as completely distinct from its southern neighbour.

Absolutely. The chaos of Trump’s policies demands other nations to plan without the USA as a key consideration. His presidency is a grift - why sacrifice our prosperity and future to it?

Good on her. Keep going until the very end. Every day she either heads towards re-election - or keeps Wilson out of the role - is a victory.

This sounds like an AI version of the Fujitsu fiasco.

But what about the money! If Petrie was $1.7m, it’s safe to assume Dickson was the same. So 3 lost seats cost them at least $4m - $5m. Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

Completely agree.

They did keep the lights on for a few ad agencies, social media firms and tv stations. That’s about the extent of their effectiveness.

I see that. And I’d also proffer that - being the complete bastards they both are - they’ll keep them as seat warmers. But they may require too much patience and strategy.

I support this from an “eat the rich” perspective. I don’t from a double jeopardy pov ie Why should super be an asset that has been taxed twice over - firstly as assessable income? And why not go for property tax on 3+ dwellings? And actually help the housing market?

That is exactly what happened. Funniest I heard on ABC radio today was QLD MP who made it clear there had been no need for the elected parliamentarians to meet in person. Couldn’t imagine why that would be necessary.

Doesn’t Littleproud have to step down as leader? Technically he is a Liberal not a National - so how does this work? #auspol

How exhausting. The Australian people definitively rejected her politics. We don’t want that here. Yet she doesn’t learn. But why would she. All she wants is money and attention.

It literally means “present the body”. The common law - original - definition is to ensure people aren’t disappeared. That they are physically brought before a court where their “crime” is judged by a properly authorised official. Not dragged off a street and never seen again.
comment in response to post
Not only barbaric but also completely ineffective. More cops on the beat, better security lighting and social media monitoring would prevent crime before it is such. This is literally gate shut - horse bolted. But it’s cheaper and more sensational.

Why don’t they just embrace being the party for mining companies? From what I can gather, farmers don’t want fracking, don’t support strip mining and oppose any venture which compromises quality water access. And that’s all the Nats lobby for.

Huh? So presumably he had to quit as leader of a party he doesn’t belong to?

This last election is just the polling that keeps on giving! If Goldstein is retained by Zoe, that would be *chef’s kiss*.

Oh I’m sure a splintered conservative opposition is going to really take on the “left wing losers”.

That’s a lovely thought.

“Arse-lickers for MAGA” may not have the same ring to it. So I guess like the GOP talk about RINO’s, they despise LINO’s?

Until the brief of evidence - ironically paid for by BRS backers through civil litigation - is put forward as war crimes, I hope the “media” have lock-jaw. He is a murderer. Who is she to exonerate him? These war-whores need to pull their heads in.. or perhaps perdre la tête?
comment in response to post
Why? Yes, the Catholic Church can grift better than any other organisation but what possible connection can there be with the MAGAts?
