If you're a nature lover, may I suggest you consider your carbon footprint before jetting around the world just to tick a box

And Trump rambling on about Biden's auto pen, these people have an 'auto nod'

Oh they do

That's not real

And 'wokeness'

Nah, they'll take anyone

Yep, it's the way of the RW, simple slogans, preferably of only 3 words, no detail of how or how much, just the slogan; Stop The Boats, Build a Wall, etc, etc, etc

The sun was probably too hot, and the locals didn't speak English - a totally rubbish holiday

You might have invented a new cocktail drink there; A 'Whiskey Leak'

Yep, I've read it half a dozen times, and nothing! But it has given me an idea for a new puzzle where you have to rearrange random words to make a sentence that makes sense

So, don't acknowledge her, ignore her completely, and she will go away

I'm totally not interested

But didn't beat them over the tie 🤔

I've heard Reform criticise 'foreigners' for not integrating, creating their own communities, and not speaking English. So, of course, it would be totally contradictive to allow Welsh people to speak Welsh in Wales 🤦
comment in response to post
Plus, on top of that, labour positives alongside reform negatives go totally unreported. There's an agenda underway in plain sight.

You need help! Haven't you heard that empathy has no place in the 21st century? How dare you think of anyone or anything other than yourself - shocking!

Even if it is to take the piss out of her. Your re-post gives her a modicum of relevance. No one is, or ever will be interested in anything she says or does - let her know this by totally ignoring her, eventually she will go away.

The template has already been proved with Tesla - Maybe Boycotting is the easiest way to go (and no personal recriminations). For example, imagine declaring a 'No McDonald's Day', the hit to the company would be huge, next day Coca Cola and so on, different day, different company.

They should never appear on TV without a responsible adult!

Alternatively, Bojo returns as the leader of the Tories and forms a coalition with Reform. I'm beginning to believe this is what is being engineered by the RW, and that combo is actually dangerous. Reform get the 100+ Tory seats, and the Tories avoid oblivion.
comment in response to post
I agree, Starmer attacking Farage today and claiming his policies 'will crash the economy' matters, not one jot to the average Reform voter - they have no savings or mortgages to be hit by the impact of interest rates. But all of them have used the NHS at some point in their life.
comment in response to post
I'm getting the slightest feeling that you're not a fan, then?
comment in response to post
Reform is a new political phenomenon. The majority of their supporters are fed up with the status quo, so in effect, it's a protest vote. The main 2 parties are never going to out reform, Reform. So the only way to beat them is to take away the things they are 'protesting' against. (IMO)
comment in response to post
Be careful on the PR. That coalition you speak of could turn out to be Reform/Conservative, and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if that was led by Führage and Bojo the Clown
comment in response to post
Super (cali.......etc)
comment in response to post
You laugh, but beware the Bojo/Führage combo (Tory/Reform coalition would be a real threat with the RW vote not split)

Yes, you're spot on Edwin, Reform supporters (as with Trump supporters) are only interested in the headline. The detail (cost, actual effect, etc) are irrelevant. That headline is even more effective it can be shortened to a nice little 3 word statement.

Let's see, it just seems a bit odd to me for it to be a deliberate act. The car was only going around 20 mph, and apparently, the driver was sounding the horn? Anyway, no fatalities thankfully, which is remarkable when you see the footage

Some fought bravely with outstanding courage and were awarded a 'Purple Heart'. Do you think Trump was awarded a Yellow Bone Spur for his contribution to his countries call to arms?

Not enough money to look after their citizens, but always enough when a war comes around

You don't know the facts, 'evil, barbaric' is framing it as a terrorist attack to me. I've just heard a version on the BBC where it appears there was a confrontation at the start of the incident between the car driver and a small group, so it may not be as you are portraying it.

If every country taxed them, they would have nowhere to go - banning tax havens should be the first step

Think you're kind of missing the point of my response to the original post. The article was of someone denying science to promote political ideology, my point was that science proves truths (at that point in time, to answer your last post), whereas fascist want you to believe untruths
comment in response to post
I disagree. They are scientific facts proven by experimentation and verified by peers. Unlike those untruths, ideological statements put out to enforce a false belief
comment in response to post
Science is proven facts, and therefore, those facts are the actual truth. Fascism and authoritarian regimes can only thrive by manipulating the population to accept their version of the truth (untruths). The aim is to sew division. So, therefore by definition, a fascist has to be 'Science Denier')

I am 'average' wage earner, I know for a fact that in 1984, my hourly rate was £4.42 per hour. Today, it's £20 per hour. 16% on £4.42 would put me on £5? Still, the differential is obscene
comment in response to post
I'm not sure those figures are actually correct, but I get the gist
comment in response to post
You're not getting it, for Farage (as with Trump), it's all about the headline (the detail doesn't matter to their supporters), even better if you can wrap that headline into a 3 word slogan!

United played like a team 16th in the Premier league, Spurs like a team 17th - Spurs got the one lucky break, and that was the difference - poor match with 2 poor teams
comment in response to post
They put the effort in, but the problem is that the standard of those players just isn't good enough. United has been in decline from the moment the Glazers walked through the door. Fergie's incredible management deferred the reality for 10 years, but mid-table ownership gives you a mid-table team.
