I don't understand how people have the energy to complain about such a non-issue. I happily look forward to any kind of art you post like

Really makes the classic dnd opener of "You walk into a tavern..." feel even more immersive.

These guys always make me think of watching Boomerang with my dad. Probably a huge reason why I love cartoons and doing voices.

My cousin hadn't played since even before villagers were added so when he started getting attacked by phantoms he started freaking out cuz he didn't even know to look up. He thought it was something invisible hitting him. 😂

I've been throwing on audiobooks and just exploring, learning all the new stuff that wasn't in the game when I was playing. Like turtles! 😂

I just got back into Minecraft after years away and I've been really enjoying it.

Probably one of my fav episodes of anything. I wasn't a huge fan of the Chimera Ant arc until that moment and then it became one of my favorites

It's the only correct response.

Same, I don't have a car so there isn't a good way for me to get there.

I knew they were gonna start jailing people opposing them but it's still a horrifying thing to see happen.

Depends on the circumstances really. Maybe they are trying to protect fleeing townsfolk, or stop a magical ritual from happening. It makes your combat more dynamic and less likely to become a slog or just 2 groups trading blows.

And there was substantial risk. If he'd rolled bad enough he'd have crashed through the weakened floor into a fiery basement without an easy way back up.

Everyone's table and what they allow is different and that's a good thing. I've always felt that fun and story are more important to me than rules. He was willing to risk his PC with a creative plan that felt like it made sense.

Apparently, he didn't think that I would allow him to attempt that, but one of the other players hyped up his idea and told him to ask. This is why the rule of cool is so important to me and I'm really appreciative of my other player for convincing him to try.

I had him roll to see if he could control the spell enough to snuff the flames without destroying the already weakened structure. With a bad enough roll the floor would have dropped out from underneath him. But he rolled a 24 or something and completely snuffed the flames in that room. 🌬️ 🔥

I like doing combat with objectives other than just killing ur opponents. Mid-combat the baddies lit a house on fire that had information the group needed. The Artificer tried to use Thunderwave to snuff the flames in one of the rooms. I love creative uses of spells so I let him try.
