Spend a few minutes on your local community social channels and you’ll see conspiracy theorists out in force. Like rats in London, maybe you’re never more than a few metres away….

Why do you find it disappointing? The principle of honours itself or that either of these individuals deserve to be recognised?

Sorry that you’ve had to post this. You’re not alone. Bravo for calling it out and taking a stand.

If it’s for a school it will have to pass more rigorous health and safety checks for installation. I’d look at contract suppliers. Not suggesting this company but this is who came up when I used those terms: www.artificialgreen.co.uk/pages/commer...

What’s the evidence of glorifying? I’ve seen Luigi memes and praise from TikTok for the Easter eggs left along the way (bullet engraving, Monopoly money). This is an individual ‘radicalised by pain’. It’s a sad outcome.

Another example of the ‘reasonable middle’ (63%). Isn’t it always the 20% that cause most noise / issue?

Agree it’s down to context and social contracts. A good swear could be mistaken as a great leveller but the boot isn’t always worn equally. And on that respect, I’d warn of caution.

I wonder how much Bezos’ much reported ‘transformational leadership’ style creates a bias for ‘stability’ figures. Madness

We received post for a family in West Midlands. House number the only common factor. Popped back in the postbox lottery for them

I think you’re at the sharp end. Last year in politics showed how few know or implement privacy protection around their digital footprint. So who knows how that filters down to lay consumers….

The language used is overly creepy vs empowering, which is interesting. I wonder how much the US moves on freedom of speech/misinformation will awaken a wider consciousness that years of digital security advice has not.
