And European holdings are now ~$3T, compared to ~$2T for Japan and China...at least in the official figures. I can imagine that this cannot continue with Europe agreeing to expand its borrowing.

The percentage of our debt that's foreign owned has gone down, but when measured as a percent of GDP it has hovered around 30% for a decade.

It is 100% true that neither should own their team. I'm down with owners not having negative cashflow, but you have to try - and both teams did enough for years to get employees to try without the owner trying.

In the response, name names. Make it personal. There are R's that are vulnerable in 2026. Make sure their constraints know they voted against them. That's more effective than "Republican vs Democrat'

I live in a rural zone and used Starlink after AT&T (illegally) stopped repairing their lines. It took a couple of years but other providers popped up that offered service - generally with point to point service.

I get the fear, doubt, and disdain for what they mean. But it is irresponsible to not engage with LLMs. They are not going away and provide a great service as you learn to use them as a tool.

I may be unimaginative here, but I don't see how you get the actuarial calculations out of the system. That can be done better! I see the peer reviewed treatments that are health and cost effective stymied by the Medicare bureaucracy which can take years to add them to coverage.
