Why did you feel compelled to equivicate your condemnation here?

I dunno Its hard to listen to RATM now after having to listen to Tom Morello go on and on last year about how both sides were fascist and you should vote for either candidate. pretty easy to rail against fascism when youre gonna shirk your own responsibility when you have an actual chance to stop it

The larger reality to contend with is that microblogging — here, there, and everywhere — is now a marginal form of online engagement. Everyone serious about reaching wide audiences is doing video or podcasts. Arguing about Bluesky and Twitter — it's proud nobodies fighting proud nobodies.

Ive always said this place is not much improved over occupy democrats, whereas occupy is a facebook group of boomers who think they are "destroying maga" through sharing memes, bsky is a narrow slice of netroot libs who think everything in the world is the fault of other dems for not being them.

I will continue my primary thesis that bsky not able to comprehend why Cuomo will win this thing handily continues to be the bsky ideology's biggest blind spot...

Driving almost right and posting this means I cant magically write the word "Eric" and assume it tags @ericmgarcia.bsky.social but yeah, see above

Its made me convinced more than ever that the solution to the democratic party woes is not on the echo chamber known as bsky (even if those on here in this echo chamber are very impressed with the reverberations they cause)

Well the actor who played him was most certainly not a Torrey (unlike Ron Silver who played Bruno and held literally every ideology in the span of about ten years before his death) but I think Marbury is more than anything a monarchist above all

You think ones "job" and "living situation" are determinates of whether you come off as a creepy loser?

I dunno if I asked ai to come up with the maximum negative feedback post on Ai it would moat definitely involve the word "Cillizza" (spelled incorrectly, of course, because its AI)

Huh? None of those 12 people in Colorado died. The antisemite wanted to kill him but he couldn't... you probably need to go to your facts

Generally fine, I just feel French is late to the party on this one... Scott Galloway has made this his main talking point since covid

Flashbacks of my days at aarp on this one, which has been using "older adults" specifically for services aimed at the 50-65 age bracket (like employment support) because that specific age group responds poorly to being called "seniors"
comment in response to post
Interestingly, from my days at AARP, their concerns about ageism is descrimination against people in their 40s 50s and early 60s, once you hit 65 the number of work resources from AARP goes down big time, for the dems were talking about getting octogenarians off the stage...

Another option is ignoring people who have no courage to tell truth to power when they actually have the opportunity to do so...

Especially because our president is doing these things in the "name of antisemitism" yet us jews have never been more endangered...

Nobody watching the NBA any more is more apropos... Meanwhile in DC a Spirit game is a much harder ticket to get than a DC United game..
