I mean, THEY didn't actually want everyone voting. Not saying they excluded the right groups, necessarily, but they at least recognized that not everybody is smart enough to do it properly.

Cat is objectively wrong. I'll still respect its boundaries, but it's wrong.

Last November I predicted that the next 4 years would see millions of magas pretending to enjoy having their faces eaten by leopards. I'm sticking with that prediction. They'll be waving Trump flags from their refrigerator boxes after losing their jobs and homes.

The fact conservatives are reacting to this with anything other than disgust is the whole story: "Owning libs" is their only priority. The health of our shared society matters to them not at all. We will all suffer so that they can feel victory over people who make them feel inferior.

Fair winds and following seas, Seaman Miller. A grateful nation thanks you.

I predict that you are sadly wrong. It's going to take a LOT longer than 4 years for this stench to fade.

Congress needs to pass a law that Truman's "The Buck Stops Here" sign must remain permanently affixed to the Resolute Desk as a reminder to all current and future presidents.

Untrue. I stopped discussing politics on November 6th because I simply can't take another 4 years of this madness. So I'm pretending it isn't happening.

If you don't understand why Trump is awful, that's all the evidence I require to judge you as both morally and intellectually bankrupt. And I have no need for that in my life. Think of that what you will. I don't care about your opinion for the same reason I don't care about a raccoon's opinion.

We were a laughing stock on the world stage long before this particular tidbit of stupidity.

I don't know what I'm going to do, Styler. I can't do another 4 years of this. Not again. I'm trying to keep my head buried so I can pretend it isn't happening. But it isn't working.

Maga only ever expected Trump to hurt the people they hate. That's the only "help" they've ever wanted.

Your cynicism is the only thing that's startling in this exchange. From my perspective, you're just stubbornly refusing to surrender an opinion you formed too quickly.

Your bio says you're a special needs Dad who supports trans people. It left out the part about being an authoritarian who feels entitled to dictate how others manage their own lives. You might want to add that in there.
I hope your day is as pleasant as you seem to be.

She's one of many such social outcasts who found community on TT. Neurodivergent. Transgender. Depressed. All found a supportive community there. How many anecdotes does it take before they become statistically significant? I now worry about them all. Use your empathy.

In TT's final week, I met an autistic woman with a cleft palate who found an accepting community there after being rejected by everyone in her real life - including her family. I worry what she'll do now. But do go on about this dangerous weapon.

Spoken like someone with second- or third-hand knowledge of it. In its final week, I met an autistic woman with a cleft palate who finally found an accepting community there after being rejected by everyone in her real life - including her family. She's just one of many people about whom I now worry

Do leftists lash out at Democrats bc they know that Republicans are a lost cause, but keep hoping that maybe the Democrats will come around?

I'm pretty sure the change which tripped them up was routing all app functions through their servers. This is probably in anticipation of implementing some kind of subscription model. Which is sad, bc I have a pretty substantial investment in Sonos hardware, which I'd hate to throw in the trash.

Both, most likely. Also, very likely lashing out at anyone who points this out. Because that's emotionally easier than recognizing and reconciling their intellectual incongruities. It's why magas are so angry so goddamn always. Reality makes them uncomfortable.

There are lots of Americans with a pathological need to harass and intimidate. They will always go where the people are so they can fill that need. They'll be all over Red Book before you know it.

Not all magas are like this, but maga definitely attracts these people. And that fact says everything about maga, and also a lot about the magas who either ignore or tolerate these people.

How do I petition for a change to the whole "free will" policy, because it doesn't seem to be working out.
