www.military.com/daily-news/2... This plays a role as well. No lawyers to provide opinions on the legality of orders.

Hoping he orders the marines to respond - and the marines to not obey because it will be an illegal order. That’ll be the only way to stop this insane administration.

Boy howdy!!! Fact: many trans folk don’t survive to adulthood much less teenhood. I support early treatment. I have living proof it works.

Ugh I know. Truly awful and terrifying. Garcia is important because this case is central to their attempt to overthrow democracy. If they bring him back, SCOTUS’s immunity ruling gets pierced. Gotta bring him home - easier than sending an agent to arrest trump for contempt.

Law allows judges to appoint any agent (outside DOJ/marshals) to enforce warrants. Holding my breath.

Dollar proceeds have to go somewhere. If UST rates look attractive, those dollar proceeds will buy more UST.

We need a middle finger “like” in addition to the heart. He truly believes this. At what point does the military step in?

An extraordinary separate dissent from Justice Jackson accuses the majority of trying to pass off its dirty work under the cover of the shadow docket and explicitly invokes Korematsu, the Japanese internment case. Wow. www.documentcloud.org/documents/25...

Okay this is good. By regularly adding to your 401k, especially during times like these, you buy more shares when the market falls. This will have a positive compounding effect when the tide turns up. And it will before you’re ready to retire.

Believe me I hear you. That red line will sink you in the long run. What’s your time horizon? I’m 59 yo and consider my time horizon in two chunks- 8 years to withdrawals, then 30 years. Time is your friend if you’ve got it.

Probably too late to hedge at this point - advisor is right. Generally if you are not invested at the bottom, you will not enjoy the gains on rebound. It’s painful I know, but we are not going to zero. :)
