I love books, coffee, forests, cats, diversity, and the Dallas Stars. Feminism benefits everyone. Trump supporters are not welcome.

Either way, far too much fallout. It’s going to impact everyone else far more than him

Who’s going to hand it to him though? Nobody in his party or administration is willing. If you mean Iran, I sure hope you’re wrong. That would put all of us in danger.

It just seems crazier because Nils looks about 15 years old 😂

They can’t get enough satisfaction being trolls on twitter, I guess.

Why are YOU ok with acting like a maga bro? Can’t think of a more substantive thing to say? Good grief.

That look on his face reminds me of my ex-husband every time I got mad at him for doing something dumb. That makes Rubio even more punchable than before.
comment in response to post
Cause why are you ok with acting like a maga bro?

Never mind what I just said. People will do and say what people like to do and say. I don’t like the name calling. Not because it’s mean. Cause, fuck ‘em. I don’t care about mean. I just dislike names because they feel like something Trump would do and I KNOW we’re better than he is.
comment in response to post
Cuck? Seriously? 🙄 Can we disagree with someone without using stupid names like some self-proclaimed “alpha” on Twitter?

Yes. They’ve never had a single cohesive message come-hell-or-high-water like the Republicans. I feel like it’s both their greatest strength and their biggest weakness. It ensures a certain level of progress, but accomplishing it in the most stressful and painful manner possible.

I never understood how much people thought a president could accomplish without the support of Congress, SCOTUS, governors, state legislatures, etc. Turns out the answer is “whatever he wants” because they all think presidents can, and should, act unilaterally.

Yes, and so many of these voters (or non-voters as the case may be) fall for it so easily because they’re new to voting and idealistic to an extreme degree. It’s naive to think change starts with the presidency. Real change starts locally.

I guarantee you’re right. They consistently refuse to acknowledge their role in this mess, or hold themselves and Republicans accountable.
comment in response to post
He’s right though, even if it’s hard for you to answer. What could they have stopped?
comment in response to post
It’s also infuriating how few people understand how our government works.

Marchment is a hard one for me. When he’s on, he’s great & I don’t mind the penalties. If his penalties were to light a fire under the team i wouldn’t mind that so much either. But man the number of times he’s taken an unnecessary penalty and the other team scores on the PP makes it hard.

Yes, thank you for this. You are 100% right and I wish more people recognized this.
comment in response to post
Wow. That’s convincing.

Those who can, yes. Those who can’t should still attend protests they’re able to regardless of location.

To maga everything is about them. It’s heartbreaking and disgusting.

I despise Tucker Carlson. But as someone living in Texas I despise Ted Cruz even more, so there’s a lot of satisfaction in watching him get humiliated.

I think it’s Walt Nauta

Is that Brigitte? Great turnout in Austin, but also a lot of the surrounding towns ❤️

It is apt in every respect really. We can all hate on Harry Potter because Rowling is a hateful TERF. I’m all for not giving that hag any more money. Doesn’t mean all the messages in the story are wrong or bad or irrelevant.

My favorite thing about Bucees is when you first walk in and that smell washes over you. A combination of bbq and caramel corn. I would buy a candle of that scent.

They are all such incredibly unserious people. How did we end up with these fuckheads in charge? It’s ridiculous and humiliating.

I never did get a ton of engagement on here anyway. I come back every few days when I have something to say. Or, more frequently, to see what others are saying about things that are getting a strong reaction from me. I’ve never come close to the amount of engagement I had on Twitter before I left.

I don’t even go that far. I’d rather he lose while being completely healthy. Just not good enough to win. I also want someone to cross check him hard right in the teeth lol

No she doesn’t deserve niceties. I’m not defending her. I’m wondering why you consider trans to be an insult?
comment in response to post
Are you for real trying to use trans as an insult? There are so many “qualities” this woman has that are deplorable. Her assigned gender at birth is irrelevant and not part of her character. It doesn’t help us win hearts and minds, and we’re not being real allies if we say transphobic things.

So, according to Joni Ernst it doesn’t matter if anyone dies at a young age from something treatable or preventable (cancer, heart disease, gun violence) because she believes there’s a heaven? What an evil bitch.
comment in response to post
Well well, any other assumptions you’d like to make about anything? I’m no Trumper. But you are an asshole. 🖕
comment in response to post
Number one, there is no hell. But more importantly, that is a seriously fucked up thing to say to someone about their mother. I hope you know you don’t have the moral high ground saying shit like that.
comment in response to post
I’ve stuck by the same home shirt and the same away shirt all season. Sigh. Maybe I should pick a different shirt.

Day after day and no AC at night to cool off and sleep well. I’d just die.

Hatty watch! I do love him.
comment in response to post
Do you have anything that shows her being transphobic that is more recent than these samples from OP? bsky.app/profile/asht...

Yes, love. But also the tragedy of Jack’s courage and Ennis’ fear. What could have been. That movie stuck with me a long time. I can still remember how I felt the first time I watched it.

They were both incredible in this movie. Broke my heart 😭
