Just your average private citizen and dog lover. Willing to have my tax dollars used to feed and house people who need the help. Against the GOP oligarchy that every day finds ways to enrich themselves at the expensive of the rest of us.

Given their success rate, what astronaut is going to want to put their life on the line in a SpaceX vehicle?

Trump is always incoherent.

I'm going with "no". They have absolutely no idea. They live in an echo chamber of lies and misinformation.

Silly me. I thought the Secret Service was the USSS. Nice associating a US government law enforcement agency with the Nazi’s. Personally, I would have equated ICE with Hitler’s SS, but maybe that’s just me.

Thank you for speaking out.

His whiteness on full display.

... says the guy who went swimming (with grandkids in tow) in a polluted stream this week just to prove that germs aren't a thing. Maybe, just maybe, his judgement is a little off.

...and I also realize it's related to the jury pool, how the prosecution "read" the prospective jurors. It may be that there's such a preponderance of data that the mix shouldn't matter.

Quick internet search. 10-30% of women may express some level of skepticism of sexual abuse allegations compared to 20-40% of men. Surprisingly close. Still given that women have a tendency to be less skeptical, I wonder why the jury isn't closer to 50/50. Not a criticism, just curious.

Quick check. Statistics state that women lie about sexual abuse 2-8% of the time. Statistics also say that 15-40% of men in Western countries express some level of skepticism that allegations are true (there are caveats). Given this, why wouldn't you want at least a 50/50 jury?

I hope the family sues for false arrest. Enough of the lawless ICE bullies.
comment in response to post
Why wouldn't the prosecution want closer to a 50/50 male/female jury given that some men are comfortable excusing or ignoring sexual abuse?

I'm trying to figure out if we achieved anything we wouldn't have been able to achieve without the tariffs on/tariffs off posturing. I'm failing.

Dementia leaves a body but robs us of the person we knew. It is so hard. My mom died 20 years ago of vascular dementia. She was not a Chicago native but was very proud to be Catholic. I can imagine her smile at finding out we have an American pope. I can hear her saying “hot damn” in excitement.

His smug arrogance was rather annoying.

They partly lost him at “daily” then completely lost him at “intelligence”. FWIW, his buddy Vlad can keep him updated.

Typical Trump regime big macho white man - lead with threats and bravado.

It’s frightening to realize that he’s procreating.

Bullshit Barbie in full defense mode for the most corrupt President ever. He’s already made multiple millions off his crypto scheme alone.

News flash - they don’t care. They have sold their souls to Trump.

If someone wants to deny vaccines or drink raw milk, fine I’m not going to stop them. But please stop putting these people in charge of our health agencies. They are on the fringe and I seriously doubt their ability to read and interpret data.

So gun owners who will be sad because they can buy fewer guns will have a better life for it?

Lovely. Hopefully people in other countries are better at recognizing propaganda than the average American.

Ummm, a couple of days ago, kids were going to have to cut back on the number of dolls they got because there would be fewer available and they'd cost more per doll. Sooooo...

I’m a cradle and practicing Catholic who finds it extremely offensive that an amoral man depicts himself as the spiritual leader of the Roman Catholic Church.

Self-incriminating statement from little Marco Rubio. Amazing how far he’s fallen in pursuit of power.

Russia has "won" in the sense that NATO is under threat and the number of countries belonging to BRICS has increased. Russia has continued to build its ability to interfere in social media and elections. It's US puppet is working hard to destroy America. It's not always about winning territory.

Now take “pay more, get less” and apply it to all the items that fall under tariffs and for 99% of us, it’s a large impact on our buying power. More Americans will slip under the poverty line and guess what … federal agencies/programs set up to help are gone. Are we great again yet?

Yay and trickle down economics actually works. What a fool.

He's not Catholic, not celibate, would never take a vow of poverty, is amoral, and is divorced (multiple times), but sure I bet the Cardinals will at least put his name into the hat.

So DOJ is fine asking to release a convicted felon from jail due to an eye problem but absolutely okay with deporting a US citizen child undergoing cancer treatments. Got it.

He needs to share where he's shopping because millions of Americas want to shop there, too.

The GOP “look” for women strikes again. Egad. 😱

I'm surprised Trump is willing to forgo golfing to attend the funeral of a man who rebuked the Trump regime on their stance on deportations.

It also helps if you don't fire immigration judges.

Going to give her credit for saying these words to her constituents. I want more but given the pressure the Trump regime and its sycophants can apply, I understand starting small. Let's recognize and support.

Agreed on his comments about autism being despicable. We all know what's coming next in his so-called autism cause study. The cause will be ... (drum roll) ... vaccines.

Your lead-in is misrepresenting her comments. At time 1:05 to the end, Murkowski states what she is going to be doing despite that fear and it includes using her voice. Do better.

You mean Trump's estimate was orders of magnitude wrong. Shocked, shocked I tell ya.

The Trump regime is now doing a full government assault against Harvard for standing up to him. We need multiple companies, multiple universities and multiple people to stand up to this regime. Overwhelm them with the resistance.

So, this congressional POS who was willing to parrot pro-Trump regime propaganda got a personal visit to CECOT while Sen. Van Hollen was denied? Now we have fascist Gorka telling Americans that they can be charged for wanting due process for every person the Trump regime shipped to this hellhole.

I should not have to sign up for a private app run by a repugnant individual to receive SS updates. I also should not have to watch two billionaires destroy Social Security.
