I’m far too lazy to fill this out right now. Let’s wait until the Alprazolam kicks in, k? No DMs, please. Cool? Thanks! Also, damn, I need to get some image up there, don’t I? Today’s addition: pronouns are he/him

I stayed inside with my HEPA air filtration system. They say the air should clear up tomorrow.

That’s worth a follow. Nicely done!

What an awesome honour! Congratulations! Also, good luck with the tour! Are you playing in Saskatoon perchance? I could probably medicate enough to attend.

From what I understand, Norris (BUF) is good friends with Quinn, and might be on the block. On the plus side, he’s like Kesler but a better human. On the downside, he’s like Kessler after 2012.

Canadians, please feel free to slip in an “I’m sorry” at the beginning of that phrase, for national identity purposes. ✌️

It’s better than the Futurism movement of the 1920s that emphasized dynamism, tech, speed, youth, aggressiveness, violence, and tiny toothbrush moustaches.

Looks like it should be floating behind a Neil Piert drum kit with the front tentacles curled up around drum sticks. 👍

For the record, DEI legislation includes retired military personnel.

In better news, they put steel plates in to stabilize the bones, which could cut his time on the IR in half. So it could be that he misses 5-7 games in total.

The last one sounds like it had gastrointestinal issues.

I don’t think that’s what they meant by “coming out at centre”. (Could be wrong…)

It’s called Disaster Capitalism, and it’s summed up in the title of a book by William Rees-Mogg called “Blood in the Streets: Investment Profits in a World Gone Mad”. Written by the father of the British MP who spearheaded BREXIT, because irony is dead and reality is drunk.

I think Elvis is good as a tandem goalie. I think Elvis + Gibson would work well with #CBJ, and the team has the cap space to do it. Only question is would Gibson come here.

What they need to do is to fish or cut bait on Tarasov. He needs serious time in the minors if he’s ever going to get a job at the NHL level. Send him down and bring in an actual NHL goaltender to play alongside Merzlikins.

I don’t think getting a goalie would be mortgaging the future. This team needs to take a step forward, and seeing firsthand what the level of play in the playoffs would be invaluable to the team.

Or, you know, we could buy KAI KF-21s, or Eurofighter Typhoons. Or a fighting from another ally. Because there are other options out there.

The thing about Tarasov is that every once in a while he does something that reminds me of Darcy Kuemper when he was just getting started. It’s like all the tools are there, but he’s got no toolbox.

Platoon Elvis with another goalie (maybe Gibson) and then you’ll have something.

Elvis is not the problem. He’s not the solution, but he’s not the problem. He’s been decent and he’s been bad, but he’s basically NHL average. Tarasov has ranged from bad to unplayable, with maybe 2 solid games all season. He needs to be in the AHL.

He wanted to, but the Fire Marshal vetoed it.

It would take 2 years to 30 months to build, equip, and stock the facilities that are currently operating in Canada. Where the heck does he think that American manufacturers will get those parts in the meantime? The auto industry will go bankrupt in 6 months without Canadian parts.

Didn’t Dear Leader watch The Wiz in Moscow a while back? I thought he liked that sort of thing.

My spreadsheet says 8; I think probably 9, because I think the team will add a F before the deadline.

Andrew Cash can’t be 63! If he was, I’d be… old.

And then Matthews picks up the goalie stick and immediately erases the power play for playing with an illegal stick. 🤦🏻

More to this point—Alberta has geography that is a) very stable, and b) well suited for geothermal power generation development. If Alberta switched its petro-subsidies to geothermal energy development, they could position themselves to be as important as Quebec Hydro is, if not more so.

I guess that the bright side is that the Canucks won’t play any of the bad teams in the playoffs. Right? Right?

I think that Morrison is undervalued by most people when they think about the WCE era of the Canucks. I don’t think he makes the two all-Canucks teams (or whatever they call it) but he was quietly very effective on the big line.

He’s a Canadian, talking about Canadian politics. He’s not talking about “the dems”.
