Yes, just imagine.

The irony of a five-time draft dodger holding a military parade for his birthday … Tell me, O Muse, how does one laugh and vomit at the same time?

WATCH: “I WAS AN INTERPRETER IN AFGHANISTAN FOR 3 YEARS.” ICE grabs a man whose name they don’t even know at his immigration hearing, shackles him, expedites his removal. Q: Why would anyone ever help our military again? — Trump is endangering and weakening our military.

🚨BREAKING: Maine court rejects right wing lawsuit challenging the wording of anti-voting ballot question. A big victory for our clients DSCC, DCCC, DGA and the voters of Maine. www.democracydocket.com/cases/maine-...

Newsom: "This is what he does. He creates a problem and then he tries to be a hero in his own Marvel movie ... he initiated those raids. He significantly increased the scale and scope of those raids. That's why he wants the National Guard."

The "I'll lower costs and get us out of endless wars" candidate is now presiding over surging costs and brand new wars.

Gasoline up 60 cents a gallon in one day here. I get it, the no war president is a failure.

California national guard troops and marines deployed to LA to help restore order have told friends and family members they are deeply unhappy about the assignment and worry their only meaningful role will be as pawns in a political battle they don't want to join. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Newsom: "Speaker Johnson -- his eloquence was elevated when he called to 'tar and feather' the governor of California. Very religious man. I guess that's the spirit. The word of the Lord."

It feels like a terrifying number of people in law enforcement are just dying to inflict violence on the American people. I hope the many men and women who take their vow to protect and serve seriously are brave enough to stand up to the corruption and ensure our human/civil rights are protected.

"Three months have passed since the National Anti-Corruption Commission promised an “impartial and fair investigation” into Robodebt. Nothing has been heard since." johnmenadue.com/post/2025/06...

SEN. PADILLA: “Saying I lunged is a lie, but that’s par for the course for this administration… I was behind the cameras listening, and at a certain point hearing Noem say they had to rescue LA from the Governor and Mayor was too much to take. So I raise my voice to ask a question.”

"They had to fire hundreds of scientists to advance these destructive policies because they know the facts are indisputable," said Ryan Maher, an environmental health attorney at the Center for Biological Diversity.

Boebert: What we’re seeing in LA is an insurrection Pritzker: You don’t know understand what insurrection is. It is outrageous that you are asking that when you are the one condoning the pardoning of people that attacked police.

Know your protest rights—because knowledge is power. You don’t need a permit to march peacefully. You have the right to record police and federal agents. If detained or arrested, stay calm, remain silent, and ask for a lawyer. Your voice matters. So does your safety. Stay ready.

“ICE” as snatching people from churches now. Never forget they said this👇🏾 MAN AT CHURCH: “We don’t want this in our property.” ICE: “The whole country is our property.” No IDs shown, non-government out of state plates, basic tactical vests that just say police. Who are these men?

Just so we're all clear: It's not a coincidence that the first senator they've used physical force against is Sen. Alex Padilla, a Latino man representing California.

Understand the Republican Party is all about loyalty tests now. Every outrage is an opportunity to reinforce the dominance of the In group and filter out anyone suspected of disloyalty. They don't need to believe anything that's happening is right, they just need to prove loyalty again and again.

Padilla: “We will hold this administration accountable”

Don't let them lie to you about Senator Padilla. DHS is claiming the agents DID NOT KNOW he was a senator. He CLEARLY says (BEFORE he is tackled and cuffed) "I am Senator Alex Padilla and I have a question for the secretary."

Funded by your tax dollars.

Crockett: I know that there’s been some conversations about what’s going on in LA and they want to say that it’s riots because they didn’t want people to keep talking about the Epstein files

“Nobody knew who he was” — Kristi Noem on a US senator

👇🏼

They lie about everything

AOC: When they say illegal vs legal immigration—they are trying to end legal status in the US making people undocumented and then they have the audacity to call them illegal when they were here documented.

LA is home to nearly a million undocumented immigrants. If you live here, you know someone living that reality whether you know it or not. It’s part of what makes this city what it is—and no, we’re not living in fear because of them.

Goldman: "These are people doing in the right way, who are nonviolent, noncriminal, and they're getting arrested. So what message does that send? Obviously it sends the message, 'Go further underground. Don't appear in court. Don't pay your taxes' ... that's just going to make the public less safe."

The most inspiring chapters in our nation's history came when Americans faced down some of our country's darkest demons. Those moments, like our own, were difficult to live through but also brought the chance to bring out the best in us, with enduring consequences.

Senator Padilla's job is to show up and ask questions. And that's what he did. It is absolutely unacceptable that Kristi Noem's agents manhandled and detained him.

Today they have crossed a deep red line. We, the people, must hold the president and his appointees accountable for this outrageous abuse against American liberty.

Padilla: If this is how DHS responds to a senator with a question you can only imagine what they're doing to farm workers, to cooks, to day laborers out in the Los Angeles community and throughout California.

😭💔🇺🇦President Zelenskyy shared the story of a man from Kryvyi Rih whose 3 children and a wife were ki##ed by russia. "Every morning when I wake up, I keep looking for my family. I believe I just had a terrible dream. I search for them — but they’re not there. 1/2

I would love a drone footage of these troops guarding the federal buildings against no one. @dprzygoda.bsky.social know anyone?

The lack of total outrage at the indictment of Congresswoman McIvey is truly frightening. Hakeem Jeffries ought to be causing high holy hell over this. She is indicted because she is Black. Half of the GOP caucus engaged in sedition and Garland felt arresting a member of congress went too far.

i am not being pollyannish when i insist that the people who sign up do not sign up to advance a president’s domestic political agenda www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

The ABC is destroying itself. The IPA and NewsCorp have people in place white-anting it from the inside, trashing its once-trusted reputation and making it unreadable, unwatchable and irrelevant. And the Albanese Labor Govt is letting it happen. 😔 #auspol #journalism

'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' was released on this day 39 years ago! (June 11, 1986) Directed by John Hughes. Starring Matthew Broderick, Alan Ruck, Mia Sara, Jennifer Grey, Jeffrey Jones, Charlie Sheen, Ben Stein, Cindy Pickett, and more. [📽 via Paramount Pictures] #OnThisDay #FerrisBuellersDayOff

honestly one of the most encouraging recent developments is the naked opportunism of Governor Gavin Newsom, and I pray that there are copycats www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2...

May the anti-ICE movement continue to spread nationwide! This is the Los Angeles spirit your news broadcast isn’t showing…
