I’ve always found the flight crews on Qantas amazing, just saying.
Also, would love more options for direct flights to Canada and Mexico. Can’t foresee any need for US flights.

Palantir - totally evil and founded by a man who hates women and YET he has been awarded UK NHS contracts worth millions. When are British ppl and the UK Govt going to connect the dots and wake up?

A break is good too. Or muting certain words but keeping the interesting media feed you can still get on… birds, science articles and sustainability (speaking from experience). Then you can always unmute if you want to delve back in.

I’ve wondered about these comments to Iran ‘urging restraint’ and a ‘return to diplomacy.’ I feel uncomfortable that Wong and the government are taking an approach of gaslighting Australians about who started this. And disgusted and disheartened that they are supporting warmongering.

This is budgeting, not yet necessarily spending. Tendering or design stage is not the same as construction and if they haven’t commenced that work het, it doesn’t affect current jobs/projects. Also, there’s a dearth engineers etc in Australia. They can easily work on other projects.

Think it’s tendering stage in Aus for these, rather than construction.

As in you climb a tiny ladder to the next shelf up, swap to the next one etc? Like a library version of frogger?

Hey, you don’t even know me so the ‘idiot’ thing is a bit of a leap. Sheesh. I literally read the post you made. I no longer have a Twitter/X account, so won’t be reading more. Thanks anyway.

Are you sure? He uses the word ‘dastardly’ (meaning malicious?) in that post, which would suggest he is not supporting it.

I remind my teens of their changing fads. They love love loved Iggle Piggle, then Bob the Builder, then Thomas Tank Engine, Harry Potter, Minecraft, various games. They’ve moved on from each of these fads though they got each proudly painted on their faces at any chance. So sit with artwork a while.

They are not building them for Australia or in Australia yet. So why should Aus tax payers fund UK jobs?

Can you point me to formal information about construction in Australia? Morrison screwed over construction in South Australia by voiding the French subs agreement. Also, when we are talking billions of dollars to potentially receive NO subs, better to cut losses.

The Commonwealth but with a different/equal balance - and no kings.

Ditch it before billions are spent upgrading Australia’s ports for US subs

Interesting to see Dr Michelle Ananda-Rajah in that pic. Never responded to constituent concerns in her electorate though so kinda useless. Glad the electorate has gone.

Before the homes are planned and built, the government needs the investment and development of services to support them. Utility connections, roads, infrastructure. And we don’t have enough engineers available for all the work required.

I’m slightly allergic to hospitals, needles and blood. Had to have an emergency procedure under general this year. Pre-op and in prep, I just focussed on how it would feel when all recovered and what I would be doing. They gave me one pain tablet and it took away all anxiety. Not sure what it was.

It’s hard to keep count. So Isreal is attacking Gaza, West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, and anyone who speaks out against genocide in the US, UK, Australia and anywhere else now? Sheesh, where has all the peace gone?

That would actually be great for the region. She is so savvy at promoting artisan products. And he could do interviews with fascinating people on some of the amazing walking trails - ending at a pub with local beer and produce. How does one make it happen? 🤩

Not ideal but they usually need to eat more than a few. My golden retriever ate some, I was slightly freaking out for a day. She was fine. She also snaffled a little chocolate as a puppy, I called the vet, they said it would likely be fine. It was.
