I have this cheap unbranded one that I got from Daiso. I like that it is a smaller point size than the Bic. And yeah, I carry this Pentel "clic" eraser too. Places like JetPens have a good selection, and you can even choose other color refills besides black, blue, red, and green.

I like the one that includes a pencil, though you lose the green (unless you modify it--or buy a fancier one that has four colors + pencil).

You made me check: it's 62 here in OC right now! Crazy.

Weird weather in southern CA too--afternoon rainstorms; even a big darksky thunderstorm today. And it's cold enough tonight that I had to close the window.

You are a goof. A lovely summery vibe to the photo though. Makes me think of playing outside as a kid, and when the streetlights came on that meant it was time to go home.

Yep, that's what I figured, but for some reason, other than the "We're all gonna die" freak, my skyline is filled with tacos. 😂🌮

I blame the flying car fantasy, and its concomitant glorifying of tech-bros, for the rise of fascism here. Metallic clothes, however, are always in fashion.

Hmm. Solid theory. I guess I'm not as familiar with Nerds as I should be. I'll have to look at a package next time I'm in a store that carries them. :D I'm curious how Cheerios quantifies on their boxes as well. Research afoot!

I laughed. I'm sure someone already said this, and not to take away your admirable drive to get math done: the way we usually figure that stuff out is look at the nutritional info on the box. It says "serving size" and "servings per container" (you still have to do a little math to multiply). :D

Similar happenings here today, although a bigger cat and a much smaller rug :D

Thanks for chiming in, Kelcey! I was hoping with your book tours and your birdwatching you'd have been to some pretty places all over the state (and also, I confess, from out here in California, Indiana seemed too small to have a real northern/southern distance :D ).

In that goofy internet way of trying to be helpful to strangers, I'm tagging the only Indiana person I know who might have some suggestions.

Thank you for the kind words. No, I haven't made any since last summer. My world's kinda turned upside down with family challenges. Once I get things relatively* sorted out, I'll get back to it.

How did you get so smart? You make me laugh with your pithy observations that cut so close to the bone. I've found myself more than once quoting you in my diary.

Wrong takeaway: which Benu? For some reason I fell down a Benu rabbit hole this weekend, looking at all the sparkly options...

Fire stix were my favorite as a kid. Weird how "artificially flavored" is proudly touted. We didn't care! :D

As a kid, we used to look for the giant donut on the way to my grandma's house in Inglewood. I didn't know there was more than one until I moved back to CA a few years ago. Googling just now, there probably was only one when I was a kid! #old 😂 I don't know if I've ever had one of their donuts. 😇🍩

As a country singer since childhood, I have spent my life defending "good" country music against "bad" country music to everyone who refuses to acknowledge that they both exist. Fighting white nationalism one twang at a time.
