Still no near the sales number of COD/GTA. The main audience of GTAs are "GoWokeGoBroke" dudes. Want undeniable proof? Go hop in a GTAO lobby and say any number of leftist statements and see how well you fare. GTA to a great extent was geared toward Bro culture. - 20s Cis white male.

This or the 3-2-1 backup strategy. 3 backups, two medias(USB, Cloud. Etc) 1 off-site.

I wouldn't recommend putting it in a wallet or hanging it from your keychain. You run the chance of damage from sitting/heat in a wallet. And people don't realize how much your key smash around into each other.

Id argue who the target audience is of both games. BG3, you won't see on the average person system. GTA6 on the other hand... But in all honesty I hope you're right.

Comment that got me blocked in less than 5 minutes. Why would you need an advanced under standing of consumer behavior if it wasn't to exploit it to sell more more more?

Hell, your employer is built to deliver said methods of doing so "leading advisor on the complexity of consumer behavior" - LinkedIn profile

I mean yeah, you worked at/on Activision/COD. Your entire job is/was basically "How can I extract the most amount of money from customers, and not deliver anything of value". And oh boy, is M$ the king of doing so.

I think GTA six is going to get a lot of heat because of the fact that they have a female protagonist, and it’s going to get labeled as DEI bullshit by gamingBros.

There's a lot of truth to this comment. It's gotta be a gut punch being a AAA developer, watching games like Lethal Company, Among us, Factorio, RimWorld.etc get such rave reviews and sales, yet watch games like concord cost 100m and fail that miserably. People are tired of shit games.

2/2I think M$ realizes that a lot of gaming is now being pushed to the PC market, and they have windows already. (Side note:Valve is giving them the middle finger and saying fuck you with the steam deck/OS and working with game devs to port their titles to Linux)
comment in response to post
M$ in short isn't interested in the "hardware game" anymore. They realize that they can't compete with the likes of Sony or Nintendo. They'll continue to make consoles as it's an avenue to their main gaming focus. Gamepass, but far less overall investment in the hardware. 1/2

well, sort of. Xbox/Microsoft approach of making their platforms viable to both PC and Xbox probably has driven a lot of traffic their way. I only recently got an Xbox, but I’ve had game pass for longer for PC games.

While I agree, find the joy in things, instead of focusing on negatives. It's hard to do so, bit leads to a more enjoyable life.

It's an extremely tight race I will admit. But Layne's performance on Down in a hole, and Nutshell sells it for me over Nirvana's.

Why is everything we do gotta be basically unseasoned? Our insults, or sayings, our chicken. Smh.

50/50 google utterly sucks unless you put “Reddit” at the end. Also this works for “Stackoverflow” too.

Factorio is far more right. People have dedicated spreadsheets to calculate the correct ratio of production. Hell, look up videos on advanced circuits setups. It’s impressive.

I can understand the cheaper screen protectors that people get off of Amazon, but ZAGG makes great ones that I notice no difference in usability. (also they do lifetime warranties on them. Buy them at Best Buy and you can exchange them for free for new ones when they crack)(pic proof of exchange)

I honestly haven't tinkered with i3 bar or blocks much. Most of preference came from unixPorn threads 😂 so I've just stuck to my riced theme and made it work for my needs. (also who doesn't like pretty colors?)

Afaik, x86 emulation for the apple arm processors still isn't the strongest. So some use cases for someone's laptop still all there. can't imagine a lot of smaller Devs are willing to do the work requires to get ARM support working.
