Trailers are what a lot of games drop the ball on. ~10 yrs ago I offered low priced, no frills trailer work to help small indies ship with better trailers. I stopped because devs were often rude/dismissive: most believed they knew best. 1 dev didn't pay me & shipped with a bad trailer, lol. 🫨

Just added another question about team size. Please fill out and share if you haven't already! 🙏🏻 A lot of responses seem to assume the dev team will have to do capture and the editor just edits. This could be a problem with the title of "trailer editor" but the vast majority do their own capture!
