I have never once regretted following you, no matter what platform you were on.

I hate that he has started making sense.

Yes, tens of people attended this parade.

I really need this set to the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme.

All of those items, including decals and lights for a car, are easily accessible online for anyone to purchase. Decades ago, my dad used to get gun and ammo magazines in the mail that had badges that could be ordered.

Or worked for a restaurant/bar. "86 the special".

Came here to post this exact meme. Hats off to beating me to it.

A real "hear me out" moment courtesy of the worst people.

Hopefully, it is the heroic dose that does the job.

Exactly, he finally said what the others were too ashamed to admit when they have the spotlight hit them.

In a town I used to live in the parks and rec department had an adult kickball league in the summer. It was so fun.

The two blends are pretty close unless you are a stickler for savory and not basil being in the mix.

When I say hot girl summer, this is what I mean. Let them all burn.

In restaurants, it means that something is no longer available. 86 the special, means it is sold out and gone.

Absolutely, I live in an urban area now, and I long for the sounds of crickets, katydids, frogs, and various night birds.

You get used to it, and you also learn to ignore some sounds.

It reminds me of a story Kurt Vonnegut retold about being at a party and telling a writer friend that the host made more money in a single day than the writer had earned on his best-selling book. The friend tells Kurt, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”. They never have enough.

I am going to say something that may get me killed, being a Chicago adjacent person. Detroit-style pizza is 100 times better than Chicago-style if you want a deep dish. The crunchy corner pieces go hard.

Fuck us up fam! The county where Indiana University sits has a single early voting site, not super close to campus, and has very few voting machines. They try hard to repress that little blue dot in a red ocean.

My husband thought I was a bit crazy when I started stocking up on things at Costco. I told him that where we are headed will make early COVID supply chains look like a paradise.

Someone joked that he attacked the colleges that Barron applied to but was not accepted into.

We used to give our preacher uncle the same look when he took too long to pray before the thanksgiving meal. We were over it.

The only reason I agreed to even go back in was because my husband and I could carpool. I made sure to complain to my director and manager every time I had to cancel meetings or calls because I didn't have proper office space or they were doing construction outside my space for the day.

They did a very similar thing to us. I moved during the pandemic but made sure to stay close to a satellite office. They forced me back 3 days a week I did not have a permanent desk or office space because I was not in 5 days/wk. Sometimes I had to move spaces during the day. I am no longer there.

I brought this up to my employer in 2021 at a work retreat. At the start of the pandemic they acknowledged things were overwhelming and had us prioritize mental health. 6 months in all of that went out the window and they wanted us to get back to work like "normal". My comment was not well received.

Pretty much the same thing that happened to a lot of corrupt Roman emperors.

He didn't show up to his town hall but he did send a staffer with donuts.

This tracks, as someone in Indiana we are so deeply red these chucklefucks think they can do and say whatever they want and will retain their seat.
