anyway, you shouldn't buy doom because you shouldn't support the industry practice of forcing people to do pointless PC upgrades - but you *also* shouldn't buy doom because there's an ongoing boycott of microsoft for palestine, with MS's gaming subsidiaries mentioned as a specific target.

part of game development is learning to make creative decisions with the resources you have access to, and within your limits.
Al "bypasses" that by removing you from the decision, copying the stolen work of others, and generally causing harm. there's no art or creativity to it
