I want to build materials that will help teach factual history to the younger generation without traumatizing them with the gory details. I believe it is crucial that young people are not taught a white washed or rose colored version of history, and I will find a way to do that. 7/7

My goal now is not to obtain teaching credentials but to write. My goal is to provide tools to young people who are curious about history. 6/7

I have always been fascinated with the "whys" of social interactions, both intimately and more broadly. A dual course of study in history and sociology provides me with the tools to not only understand the "whys" but to teach them as well. 5/7

Unfortunately, it looks like transfer is not going to be feasible because of cost. So now I am reconfiguring my path thusly: Sociology is a subject that I was born to study and have been, concurrently with history. 4/7

The purpose was to teach middle school history, specifically US history with a side of government, the outcome of which would provide students with not only a technical timeline but an understanding of why events went down the way they did.The "whys" are the most important, after all. 3/7

About a year ago I decided that my goal was to obtain an AA degree in History, then transfer to a university for further study and teaching credentials. 2/7

Most importantly: always remember that YOUR perspective can not possibly encompass the experiences of every individual. 5/5

It's called "education." And no, I don't mean public or even private school. I mean community education. Talk to people about their experiences and really listen. That listening part is the most important. Ask questions, explore ideas you previously thought were bs. 4/5

This disgusting display of power echoes throughout history. Immigrants have always been the scapegoat and in hindsight the data fail to support the action. READ THAT PART AGAIN. The data. fail. to. support. the. action. So why do we keep making the same "mistakes"? It's real easy, wanna know? 3/5

There are hundreds of individuals who are in El Salvador who should not be there. The administration has been told, by a judge, that what they did was wrong. The administration was told to bring the planes back. Remember Bukele' reaction? Yeah...he reposted with a laughing emoji, saying "oops" 2/5

I genuinely loathe Vance more than the Orange Man. He is the worst of Trump with a heaping extra side of slime. He is so smarmy that it brings shame upon the term.

2/2 You are required, as a parent/guardian, to send your child to school. It doesn't matter if it is public or private or even homeschool: enrollment is required. So how come the government doesn't facilitate the education they require?
