Amen! Rule of thumb: if the Republicans support it, it’s probably a good idea to oppose.

She’s dating a lobotomized Gordon Ramsay clone?

I agree, but that doesn’t excuse the responsibility of the person who pursues the power/authority figure. It’s not an either-or. They can—and are—both wrong in that situation.

Yes, although we’ve learned since the original incident that Monica Lewinsky was actively pursuing Clinton so I’m not sure how relevant metoo is. She is still responsible for her own actions regardless.

Go look up Dennis Hastert and consider how the Republicans in Congress in the 90s tried to cover for him.

Technically he was impeached for lying under oath about it but many of us back then felt he shouldn’t have been under oath about his own personal matters to begin with.

That means we can bring up the way the Republican Party covered for Dennis Hastert’s pedophilia when discussing the way they tried to cover for Matt Gaetz. Good to know.

True, he’s unusually charismatic. Also, in case you hadn’t noticed, people on our side tend to tone down criticism of POC for fear of looking racist.
It seems you’re figuring this out. When we don’t engage in in-fighting and kill voter enthusiasm, we actually win elections. Imagine that!

Only because the vote was so close which it shouldn’t have been. The real problem was that Dems spent the year tearing Gore down for not denouncing Clinton and also making the case that he’d be a warmonger and that everyone should support Ralph Nader. We kill voter enthusiasm every time.

Your wifey theory is silly. Explain why voters failed to show up for Al Gore in 2000 after Dems spent a year shooting him down for the sin of being VP to the guy who got a blow job.

More insults. You’re a gem.
I’d suggest some rethinking of your irrational views if you ever come to the unlikely conclusion that you actually don’t know it all.

Also, it’s amusing to me that you think your actions are typical of other voters. Go look at the turnout stats. Our side didn’t show up. Just like in 2016. Just like in 2000. We keep making the same dumb mistake by telling our side why they shouldn’t bother voting. 🙄

Gosh, it so unlike people like you to be condescending when you’re losing the argument. /s 😂

Oversimplified. A protest vote is one thing. The incessant carping for months about how evil our genocidal candidate is kills voter enthusiasm. See Hillary “lesser of two evils” Clinton in 2016 for another fine example.
But hey, enjoy your sense of moral superiority for then next four years. Lol.

People like you underestimate the effect of forming a circular firing squad during the election season. It kills voter enthusiasm and results in low turnout. I sometimes think Republicans really are smarter than we are. You don’t see them undermining themselves for a feeling of moral superiority.
