getting into the shower: terrible, annoying being in the shower: glorious, amazing getting out of the shower: terrible, annoying

Trying to get back into a @theflenser.bsky.social sort of mood b4 Planning for Burial tomorrow (been into UK Garage otherwise) by playing @uboatheflesh.bsky.social ‘s new EP on the big sound system. It is so raw & incredible I’m just sitting here bawling. Damn. uboa.bandcamp.com/album/all-th...

A lot of you need the reminder

also i dont know if the songs suck or whatever but give it a like if you do dig it. helps me know to keep going (and conversely what not to do). although i've noticed so many folk have stopped engaging with music and social media entirely. which given the state of everything is difficult to fault.

"Can I Play That?" is a website focusing on the intersection of web accessibility and video games. The site is a resource of reviews, features, and news coverage of accessibility within video games. The site is aimed at both players and developers. caniplaythat.com

Got a ConEd alert telling me to use less energy during the heat wave and this is all I can think about.

Holy shit @karidru.bsky.social I finally finished @leemandelo.bsky.social ‘s Summer Sons (had to wait for my library hold) & it was SO GOOD. You were right about prose you want to lick!

Nothing so frustratingly hilarious as migraine aphasia. At least I know my attempts to communicate sound as absurd as they feel. Also thankful that @buttplug.engineer can decipher the word salad after like 28 years of this nonsense. (Not a stroke, just intense migraine aura.)

Vaccines save lives. That’s it. That’s the post.

Do you know how many people aren’t protesting today because you’ve disabled or killed them with covid? Real uncomfortable question, I know. What would you do if you knew your personal number (of people you’ve disabled or worse)? Would it matter?

YES. If you mask everywhere- or at least in the most crowded places that people cannot avoid, like stores- then it places masks in the category of Everyday Clothing. It makes it SO much harder to ban when at least a decent chunk of people wear them.

No Substack, no X

if you're still on Substack, you hang out with Nazis. You should not be on Substack unless you like Nazis, and we're gonna have to assume you do. It's not even remotely subtle that Substack lurves them some Nazis.
