This was tremendously useful. It mainly confirms what I suspected. They are close but Lin is too cop-friendly for me. Also, Jamie was a little handicapped. He had to waffle on a few items because he is on contract bargaining teams. The CCU pushed for using the Jump Start tax.

I worked a year in an office that got too hot. I will always be grateful for the dudes down the street who sold watermelons. I couldn't get enough water down to stay cool but eating watermelon did it. It was like eating an AC.

As bad as it is here, I look at NYPD and see why I am grateful some folks want SPD to be no more independent than they are - and to roll that back where possible. It can get so much worse.

Dollars to donuts the reason why the mayor and chief deleted their texts was because it would have shown they'd lost control of SPD.There was no legal order to abandon East Precinct. The Guild was giving orders, not the chief or the mayor. But to reveal this would've been political catastrophic.

I'm missing something. Why would one ask a KC Exec candidate about safety improvements with Seattle?

For real.

We agree on most things but I'm not sure I agree with this blanket statement. I want to see restrictions on the shenanigans that have allowed the damage Eyman and now Heywood have done. Do you think that wasn't is perhaps wrong-headed?

Very late seeing this. I'm listening now. I'm grateful that it is you who took over this communication venue.

King County is one of the largest employers in the region. Its workers are majority union and the next Coalition contract will come up in their tenure. What commitments will they make to ensure good working wages and conditions?

What approach will they take to bringing all of KC into solutions for housing people living outside - in particular the people facing the most difficult challenges where just getting them indoors might not be enough by itself.
