And, as Eric notes, Johnson still says so!

If every problem we see now is gonna prompt the response of “Democrats should have seen this coming between 2021 and 2023 and not just convinced Manchin and Sinema to agree, but to eliminate the filibuster to do it,” I’m gonna scream forever.

They were blocking lawmakers from entering their airport areas during the Trump 1 Muslim ban. Arresting the Newark mayor etc is an escalation of what they were gleefully doing before and were never punished for doing.

Not cleaning up CBP/ICE after four years of repeat bullshit was a depraved act of willful blindness by the Biden administration. None of this behavior is surprising or new.

JB says he loves the NIH. Weird then that he would promote climategate style conspiratorial nonsense about it...

Senator Durbin asks NIH director about the massive cuts to the NIH part 2.
comment in response to post
He said the main goal of the NIH was to protect Fauci and Collins. All they have in support of that was an email that said OD news sweeps focus on news coverage. That means they think the NIH is mainly news sweeps. Conspiracy theorist logic.

the National Center, a little-known but powerful conservative think tank, has been trying to dismantle DEI for nearly two decades and over the past year, they’ve been experiencing enormous success due to the rise of the conservative crusade against “woke capitalism” and “viewpoint discrimination”

R.G. Cravens from @splcenter.org says “A lot of the rhetoric the hard right uses to describe DEI is based on racist and white supremacist narratives about people of color” (duh!)

Newsom’s response: “Alabama has 3X the homicide rate of California. “Its murder rate is ranked third in the entire country. “Stick to football, bro.”

I believe that the email to write to in this case is [email protected] (I'm just blocking anyone hassling me for replying to this: I do not support Hamas, I do not support the genocide in Palestine, no civilian deserves to suffer for a government's actions.)

Perhaps in an attempt to square the circle and to not leave the conference as a total dud, France has indicated that they are still encouraging other states to make their own unilateral decisions regarding recognition. Malta is one of them, but will Belgium, Portugal, Canada go ahead w/o French+UK?
