Less magnificent than the custom controller or dual-wielding N64 controllers, but nice to have.
(It would allow for modern-day weird/garbo controllers to work if they use Bluetooth, which I *think* means that you can twin-stick GoldenEye with the Dragon Quest Slime Controller for Nintendo Switch).

If you have an N64 BlueRetro adapter with multiple controller outputs, you can configure it for twin-stick games with a single controller (with presets for games like GoldenEye).

Coming in late with this take, but I think if you work at a studio, you have a responsibility to keep independent artists off your mood boards or just try to hire them if you absolutely need their style to be a foundation of your project.

I wonder how long it will be until developers *intentionally* go for the modern crusty AI-upscaled AI-interpolated look. (Like, slapping FSR1 on a game to make it look worse on purpose.)

my favourite bit of evidence against this is luke's dad showing up as a force ghost in leigh brackett's draft of empire and then talking about nellith

I've heard it said for a few things (e.g Concord being 'our Star Wars' internally) and I feel like it has never happened.

Has 'this will be the next Star Wars' (or variants of it) ever panned out?

Bonus points for a Lesbian Toggle that removes the main character and makes the game unplayable.

Yep.
I haven't seen a game where RT makes a meaningful difference, but it has a significant performance cost.
On consoles and low/mid PCs, I would argue it's a net negative in practice (since you have to reduce image quality to compensate and can't target higher frame rates).
