On both.

Same, though I was aware of it in 94 or 95.

Ain't that the truth!

$50 still feels expensive to me, though I may have my perception skewed by remembering Atari 2600 carts at $40 in the early/mid 80s. But yeah, f these game prices these days.

So much for the earlier suggestions then that Idra had their ascension during the Gap.

Idra is an Outer God?!

oh, we're day 8 into the 2025 Hurricane Season, and the Eastern Pacific is already on their second named storm. Say hello to Barbara.

They are better described as "Usually Less-than-Lethal." And we've seen plenty of instances where a rubber bullet to the skull is lethal, a pepper munition into an eye is lethal, repeated applications of tasers are lethal.

that doesn't leave a lot of room for you to be in the same room to build it?

And bullies famously give up after being asked politely to stop.

And how many of the people calling for 'peaceful protest' are really just calling for 'protest' that doesn't inconvenience them personally?
comment in response to post
Protest however your own morals and personal risk analysis advises you to, but be aware that the people on BlueSky who sit inside on their phones yelling at you to assault armed law enforcement personnel will not put up a dime for your bail, your hospital bills, or your funeral.

Fuck. That. Shit. I do not recommend Zephon. Save your money for some other game. (Yes, I am now aware you can turn off this Turn 100 surprise. It still doesn't make it right or wash the bad taste from my mouth. Fuck this game.)

Three Titans are in spitting distance of my one good city. With no units to stop them, production is too slow to throw even trash in their way to slow them down. It's, "you hit turn 100, and since you didn't ignore everything else and prepare for this, you're dead."

Come turn 100, two enemy factions with no units, no bases, no cities, no anything, appear with multiple Titan-class endgame units. Of the 10 levels of tech, I'm still in level 4, starting to get into level 5. Their first turn? Completely destroy several units and lock down a dozen more.

I liked Gladius (the predecessor) kind of sort of, and Zephon is getting good reviews and marks. I bought it and am now unfortunately out of the return it window. It has a surprise endgame situation. No hint, no indication that two of the enemy factions I'd already defeated would resurface.

It can make you suddenly allies with opponents you've been fighting for hundreds of turns. And it's not that good a story. I don't like forced endgame situations, especially ones sprung on the player by surprised. I'm now talking about Zephon.

Do not take tactical advice from people who even so much as suggest that any of this is the fault of the protestors.

He's also ignoring the fact that the current preponderance of the use of violence is coming from the government forces, not the public. Tom here'll be all right for quite some time regardless of what happens, I find his bloviating to be worthless.
