All that to say i woke up with stoopid sore hands this a.m. and will need a day or two off from Clair Obscur Expedition 33 😢

Unfortunately between carpal tunnel and arthritis, this leaves my hands sore the next day. Probably why I don't play many games with parry in them.

they might not *sound* alike, but in my mind i associate Van Morrison and Joanna Newsom. They both make sorta freeform, rambling, arty poem songs.

LOL i hear you loud and clear. my enjoyment for short videos is literally my last youthful trait, hanging on by a thread.

fwiw, the Know Your Meme youtube channel is really good for this, they put out tiny 2-3 minute primers on pretty much every tiktok trend within a few days of it taking off :)

i super DON'T want Americans to hurt though, i have a lot of friends there. i wish there was a way we could make the billionaires hurt without it harming the average joes and janes who hate Trump as much as we do.

this phenomenon is eye-gougingly infuriating, because it always seems to happen with super-expensive editions. you know, the kind of thing collectors will specifically want to *display* 😖

i know i'm a total idiot about how money works, but it blows my mind that at a time when literally every country in the world hates the USA and the stock market is tanking, their dollar is still so strong.

i have a feeling this game will follow the tradition of Phoenotopia:Awakening in having a scientist end up being my favourite character :)

What's even crazier tho is, with few exceptions, their base is eating it up and praising them more rabidly than ever.

There needs to be an account that posts only this kind of stuff. A full timeline of little sparks of encouragement, just as a mouthwash from all the despair.

i've heard numerous stories about it being nearly impossible to get customer service help from Distrokid... hope they've cleaned up their act and can give you a hand

it might get better after a while if i make more connections or more of my people move over here. but for now it's hard to feel like Bluesky is replacing other sites for me, so much as it's replacing Notepad

yup this is annoying enough on most music sites, but especially egregious when exclaim.ca does it... which is almost every day.

i guess my worry is that a show like this isn't going to let anything nice happen for its characters. like it feels like they're setting up Belinda (as just one example) for a big hurt.

jeez, every scene of dialogue between Connie Britton and Sydney Sweeney is so sharply written. most believable mother-daughter snark ever.
