Very. It pains me to say that I really don’t see a path forward right now on how Milwaukee averts a worsening housing crisis for at least the next 5+ years…probably longer tbh

There’s quite a lot of opposition, actually 😔 I don’t know how we’re going to address our housing crisis or maintain county services for future generations with the extraordinary aversion to change in our communities I get that everyone is anxious of change, but the alternative is 10x worse

believe it or not, we’re actually expecting a close vote (!) on this at the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors, so if you support more senior housing in Milwaukee County and maintaining a center at McGovern then please contact your County Board Supervisor about this ASAP
